Russia 2 9ja 1. Our midfield is nonexistent. But Bewene is balling. Frederick is a baller any day any time. The leftback is doing well 2. Kelechi is still needed in SE, way better showing than Akor, Arokodare and Awoniyi in my view. The midfiekd is new to d team so its understandable that the transition from midfield to forward is ninexistant. With more games together, they will surely get better. The backline is very good. Fernandez should learn to sometimes just kick d ball out not neccesarily having to play from d back all d time. He was the culprit for d 1st goal. Russia are d better team so far but thats understandable.
You see how Russia is probing none stop looking for an equaliser, they got one and continued looking for the second goal which they deservedly got. Nigeria super eagles should learn how to pressure opponents like the Russian.
They have clearly outclassed our team..

Not Ndidi jogging in the middle, or a slow Ajayi leaving opposing defenders to do the damage, or an overweight Bright being turned inside out like an amateur.
It’s an injection of energy and quick thinking in the box that this team needs. They can get too sluggish most of the time. Let those with tired legs or heavy bodies be weeded out. Speed and an eye for goal, those are the simple ingredients of Osimhen’s strengths.

Exactly, Chelle shd blend the team with some promising young lad, for sure our full backs today need to stay with the main team henceforth, the GK as well didn’t do bad Expecially with his distribution.
Game over. Russia 3 9ja 3. Some standout players, all the 4 defenders were fantastic. The fulham kid wearing #17. The young winger Edikpolor, as well as the guy wearing #11. These guys played well in my opinion. The #10 has no business in d team. He was ball watching on several occasions. The LB and RB positions should be Aina and Bewene while LB should be whoever played the LB yoday, igboke and Bruno. Osayi should step aside. Semi Ajayi needs to make way for Nwaiwu and Fredrick.to partner Bassey and Fernandez and Igor ogbu Kelechi is required in d SE, his finishing can come in handy. There is no better finisher than Kelechi in and around d box. However he needs to work on his fitness as Chelle wants full court press. Our Frontmen should be Seniorman, Osimhen, Akor and Illenikhana. Simon should pave way for younger players like Otele. Ndidi should make way for this young boy from Fulham or Iroegbilam, Tijani and Nnadi to battle for the modfield position with Onyedika and Onyeka. Just my view.
