Scotland have suffered another injury blow after confirming Finn Russell will miss Saturday’s Six Nations clash in France.
Head coach Gregor Townsend is already without the services of his first-choice back row in John Barclay, Hamish Watson and Ryan Wilson while forward Sam Skinner and prop WP Nel are also sidelined.

British and Irish Lions fullback Stuart Hogg and centre Huw Jones were also lost to injury last week and the key duo could miss the remainder of the Six Nations.
In a further blow ahead of the clash in Paris on Saturday, fly-half Russell has been ruled out after failing a concussion test and his absence means Glasgow Warriors star Adam Hastings is set to start.
Russell picked up the knock in the first half of Racing 92’s 34-29 defeat to Top 14 leaders Toulouse on Sunday. Scotland confirmed on Tuesday he had not satisfied the requirements of the return-to-play protocol.
