Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz says he is very happy at the club and wants to stay and help them win a trophy. The Spain Under-21 international has returned to club action on the back of a very successful summer on the international scene.
The midfielder was instrumental in helping his country win the European Under-21 Championship in Italy and San Marino and was named as the Player of the Tournament.

He has returned to Napoli and played in both of their Serie A matches this season, both of which have ended 4-3.
Ruiz was linked with a move back to his homeland with Real Madrid and Barcelona over the summer but nothing materialised and he will have to wait until January should he request a move.
However, a new deal at the Stadio San Paolo is now thought to be in the pipeline too, and Ruiz is hopeful he will have a long-term future with the club. “The club and my representatives are talking and I hope they reach an agreement,” he said.
“It’s a pleasure to be wanted by clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona, but I always have said the same thing: I have another 4 years on my contract with Napoli and I’m very happy. The manager gives me security that every player needs. “I’d really like to win a title here and see the entire city celebrate with us.”
