Former Nigeria captain and goalkeeper, Peter Rufai, has pledged to make himself available and contribute to giving fitness fans a great time during the next edition of Complete Sports Celebrity Workout.
Rufai was one of the celebrities who graced the second edition of Complete Sports Celebrity Workout at the Ikoyi Recreational Park, Lagos on Saturday, September 30, 2023, where he mingled with the gleeful participants.
Rufai told the G.M.D of Complete Communications Limited, publishers of Complete Sports, Dr. Mumini Alao: “I enjoyed myself and the workout. Indeed, it’s a good concept. Thanks for all the goodies … I appreciate it.

“I’m looking forward to the next edition. I will even make arrangements to teach some basic soccer skills to attendees,” the 1994 and 1998 FIFA World Cup goalkeeper, who won the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations with the Super Eagles, promised.
Dr. Alao thanked former Super Eagles stars, Peter “Dodo Mayana” Rufai and Moses “Policeman” Kpakar for their presence at the 2nd Complete Sports Celebrity Workout last Saturday at the Ikoyi Recreational Center, Lagos.
Dr. Alao spared thoughts for fitness expert and the Coordinator of the ‘I’m Alive and Thankful’ fitness club, Onome Obruthe, who fortuitously missed the event he craved.
“Sincere apologies to ‘fitness guru’ Onome Obruthe for your inability to locate the venue despite devoting precious time and missing the workout altogether,” he said.
“The 3rd edition next year promises to be even richer and better!”
