Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed his delight after scoring his first-ever goal in the Europa League as Manchester United beat Sheriff 2-0 on Thursday.
Ronaldo opened his goals account in Europe’s second-tier club competition after doubling United’s lead from the penalty spot.
Jadon Sancho opened scoring for the Red Devils early in the first half as Erik ten Hag’s side bounced back from their opening day loss to Real Sociedad.
And reacting to scoring his first goal in the competition, Ronaldo praised his teammates for making it happen.
