Ronaldo Nazario is aiming to become the president of the Brazilian Football Federation (CbF) in 2025.
The tenure of the current president, Ednaldo Rodrigues, will end on March 2025 and there will be an election for a new candidate after that
According to Tribuna, Ronaldo is aiming to run for the presidential position and has some ambitious plans to attract votes towards his favour.
The former Barcelona, Real Madrid and Inter Milan star will reportedly push to bring Pep Guardiola to be the manager of the Brazil national team if able to win the election.
Guardiola’s current contract with Man City expires at the end of June 2025 and Ronaldo aims to bring him into the set-up after that.
Ronaldo currently owns Spanish club Real Valladolid and wants to expand his stronghold in a football management role.
During his playing days Ronaldo won two FIFA senior men’s World Cup in 1994 and 2002.
At the 2002 World Cup, he emerged top scorer with nine goals and was named FIFA Player of the Year.
