Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr is frustrated with the timing of his side’s friendly fixture against Mexico as he will be unable to count on the services of his first-team players.
The three-time African champions will take on Mexico on July 4 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
With majority of his Europe-based stars expected to be on vacation or with their respective clubs in pre-season ahead of the new campaign Rohr is uncertain which team he will line up against the North Americans.

The game also comes outside of the FIFA window for international matches.
The German tactician might have to call-up players from the Nigeria Professional Football League for the game.
“To get the Super Eagles in Europe is impossible,” Rohr told ESPN.
“They will all be in pre-season with their clubs. So I will be able only to make selection of players from Nigeria.”
The Super Eagles have another friendly scheduled for next month against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in Austria.

Not good, but Rohr will be forced to coach homebased players lol.
… Coach forget your key starters and callup players like Marcus Abraham, Sadiq Umar, Terrem Moffi, Ike Ugbo, Anayo Iwuala, Junior Ajayi, Abdullahi Shehu, John Noble, Daniel Akpeyi, Adamu Abubakar (last U-23 goalie), Ahmed Musa, Semi Ajayi, Ejike, Dessers, Oladoye (Gent New Defensive Midfielder), Akin Amoo, Tijani Samson, Kelechi Nwakali, The Abia Warriors Central Defender called up first with Iwuala, Emmanuel Dennis, Jamilu Collins, and compliment it with good Nigeria born players in MLS… We should be good with the bulk of this list against Mexico if coach Rohr cannot get his first choice regulars… Let him make the roaster and callup this ones now so that they can begin to process USA entry Visa for those who will need it… It’s a golden opportunity to test players who have remained on the fringes of Super Eagles for some time now… I am miffed to read that Coach Rohr is not happy with the timing of the Mexico fixture… Coach forget story! Let’s go Super Eagles! Let’s go Nigeria!! One love!!!
Excuses everywhere, let him have a back up team, no way. Abeg make we hear word. Just from the names you listed some players will be available. And what is worng in calling some home based players if you start camping them now. At least there is nothing you have been doing for 2 months
I thought you said you are an ex-footballer. So Rohr should call up players when they are already on holidays or in pre-season camps/tours with their clubs for a “friendly match” that is not on a FIFA window…..LMAO. And you think they will be knocked straight back into shape with a few days training to go face the No 11 ranked team in the world coming out of CONCACAF cup 2021 camp
Wow….like really….wow.
Rohr should just forget about inviting any europe-based player (except the ones wey won sell market) and start penciling down names of home-based players as from tomorrow for a 4 week camp before the friendly match. At least since we have been made to believe home-based are as good, if not better, than their foreign counterparts, this will be the best platform to prove it.
@JimmyBall I don’t think you even have a clue on what Genorh Rohr is even saying! Even the players you listed here WON’T BE AVAILABLE because they are European based. So he can’t even test the players on the fringes. I no know why Una no dey read to digest before typing. Una go just open mouth waaaaaa, and begin to type. All he is saying is that all European based players, including those in the fringes of the team, wont even be able to make it because they won’t be free at that period. Make una dey try read through the lines. E get why
@JOEL… It’s not true. Let him make the contacts to the players and clubs first and give us feedback of those whose club won’t release… and those who will prefer to opt out.
Sometimes they feel some people here are idiots, just like you stated, he can make a call to the players teams and negotiate there release. And why will the NFF agree to such friendly without your consent. Does that make any sense at all.
… My brother the whole matter dey simple when you check am… the most important thing na make we no the opportunity to test Mexico… One love.
Hahahahaha…ex-footballer. So it is through phone calls from national coaches to club managements players get released for international engagements…wow….LMAO.
Wait first, between you and Rohr, who do you think desires more to have the best possible players available for the game…??? You think if there was a guaranteed possibility he wouldn’t exploit it to have as many of the best players from Europe available for the game, even if its gonna be fringe ones…???
You think professional clubs in Europe are like the street teams you played for in your village were proper administration and professionalism is non-existent…..LMAO. Even Bordeaux that is practically Rohr’s domain, his terrain, his kingdom gave him a flat NO when he tried negotiating Kalu’s release for a FIFA rated AFCON qualifier…not to talk of a FRIENDLY that is OUTSIDE FIFA WINDOW and with clubs whom we’ve had little to zero previous working relationships. On a good day the Bordeaux’s management were just supposed to release the boy after a 3 minute phone call as Rohr is a club legend, former coach and major stakeholder till this minute, yet they gave him a blunt NO. Like a blunt fat NO. No sentiments attached. Not to talk of teams whose management he has never been familiar with.
Football is business and professional clubs are run with adherence to protocols and regulations with no sentiments attached. Off-season is off-season, except for major tournaments (which still MUST be on the FIFA calendar) players are meant to rest and take their minds off football in the off-season in order to return refreshed and re-invigorated…it is statutory. Players are prized assets to their clubs, left to them they wouldn’t even be releasing them to their federations….especially at such crucial times of the season, having played the busiest season ever in professional football and set to have another busy one in the coming season.
And I honestly don’t know where you and your sheepish acolyte get this funny idea it is the job of the coach to call clubs one after the other to secure release of players from clubs….LMAO. That happens to be the duty of the FA…they first send forms to players to confirm availability for a game, when the players confirm availability, then they send letter to clubs requesting their release citing what ever protocols in the FIFA statutes that back up their request. That is where it becomes knotty if you cant find they right protocol to achieve such…..and trust clubs, for a prized asset its always going to be an outright rejection….it is only their benchwarmers and inconsequential ones or the ones they wish to market that they will waive protocols for and let go. Securing consent for FIFA windows has been war ever since FIFA granted clubs the sole power to determine whether to release their players for international games…it is the one happening outside window and in the off-season or early preseason when their prized assets should be observing crucial rests after a very busy season they will now listen to…..LMAO
My Negotiator…pls continue your argument of unrealistic negotiations with far remote possibilities since you know coaching and administration better than those who have been in it for almost 3 decades….LMAO. You will tell us if Rohr told you he hasn’t contacted his players first before going to the press to tell us they wouldn’t be available. You seem to love Rohr’s job more than him….LMAO. Even the NFF have themselves resigned to the fact that a large chunk of the Europe-based lads wouldn’t be available. They know these things. But arm-chair footballers and administrators know more than everybody…LMAO
Continue forcing a dead-on-arrival opinion ehn…LMAO….its good…keep it up. Rohr has already moved ahead of you to identify 18 NPFL players he will call-up for the game. LMAO. It will even be better to use those ones since they will still be playing, rather than calling up 18 new set of Europe based players who have never met before from their holidays on cruise ships or from their summer preseason camps in beach resorts. No serious professional will even listen to you…except for the ones who are desperate to use the SE as a springboard to market themselves just to be called an “international”.
IT JUST DOESNT MAKE SENSE…no matter how many months you choose to push your agenda…..LMAO
Oga jimmy you get time to dey respond to that parrot mouth. Wouldn’t it be silly for a friendly to be planned without the coaches consent. Abi where was he when the arrangements were made, or was it not run by him that they would like to engage the Mexicans. So maybe someone can tell us how this friendly was organized without the coaches knowledge
Mumu…Jimmy’s dog and special adviser well done….LMAO. How e take dey pain you say Jimmy dey respond to that parrout mouth…? Is it your time he is using or your resources…? With your long mouth like that of a bush-pig….LMAO. Please tell us where your got your information that the match was arranged without the coach’s knowledge. Post the source of your news here….LMAO…awom Liars Utd….awon opuro sowenu….LMAO. Even b4 any friendly was announced, Rohr himself had told us there will be friendlies in place of the postponed qualifiers….LMAO. Pig-mouth is here arguing without direction as usual….LMAO. We don even miss your senselessness small for ths forum. Pls give us more than this your ..jimmy you get time to dey respond to that parrot mouth…” punchline on a more regular basis make we laugh well well for the forum abeg….LMAO
If only you had sense and constantly educated your stack ignorance, your sense would have told you that it was the Mexican federation that approached the NFF for the game through their FIFA agent Jairo Pachon and not the other way round….and that before the NFF accepted, they had in conjunction with the coach weighed their options properly and seen that the best option available is to use the Nigeria-based players and that was why the coach stated equivocally in 2 simple sentences that…
“….To get the Super Eagles in Europe is impossible, They will all be in pre-season with their clubs. So I will be able only to make selection of players from Nigeria.”
Very simple and straightforward statements, made with plenty of conviction and affirmation. But the stupidity and stack ignorance in your blood cannot even let you comprehend even the time on the wall clock, so how then will you comprehend grammar….LMAO….that is why you and your master come hear arguing blindly….LMAO. Blind man leading imbecile….LMAO.
Between me and your master who has been more of a parrot trying to prove he knows how to handle call ups better than the FA and a coach who has been in the business for close to 30 years….?LMAO.
I’ll rather be a parrot than be a dustbin-raiding dog like you constantly licking its masters feet with your trademark punchline on CSN…”..jimmy you get time to dey respond to that parrot mouth…” LMAO. You will tell us if it is your long mouth jimmy is using to respond to that parrot…LMAO
Mexico also has many Europe-based professional footballers
But they would have been in the camp since the end of season in May preparing for CONCACAF cup, while ours are dispersing for off-season holidays after we play Cameroon. Truth is getting this friendly against Mexico is good, the timing is good for them, but its bad for us. I dont see how players called up from holidays will be made to go face players heading to a major tournament. I dont even see the Mexican team getting tested enough in such circumstances
Mexico match is a very important friendly match, and the eagles needs to flex muscles with such a talented team, at list to be able to text our level of improvement, it is a friendly match that demands our best legs and Rohr see it as am opportunity to see the full strength of his team against the biggys, like we did against Ukraine and Brazil, I will beg Nff to reschedule the match for June during European nations cup, where Europe is busy so that we can present a strong team, if we future our reserves we may suffer serious defeat in the hands of Mexico our long-time friendly foe. pls biko june is ok for the match, Mexico nor be beans and losing against them will be an unecesary dents to our history, it’s even better to cancel the match than to go there to be easily disgraced. I don’t think Rohr wants any unecesary losing thins for now wey him blood they hot for victory.
@Collins id. l appreciate your good understanding of what is involve here. Mexico is a very big deal in the World football and not one to play with Bendel Insurance or Ajagunla untested locals or not only Nigeria will be disgraced but the whole black African race. Those of us who live among them knows how they think. l live in Naples areas, SW Florida. Please NFF, for once, listen to the coach on this issue or you will be ashamed of the decision for not listening to Rohr. If the best Nigeria eleven is not available, don’t play at all against Mexico. Be warned.
Wow wow wow wow. This is quite interesting. Less than a month, the coach of the Super Falcons was able to form a team for a tournament and he won it and the gaffer didn’t complain about the unfamiliar situation.
Nigeria is a football nation and we have structure and a structure that any coach can use to build a formidable team that can win in tournament.
Mr. Waldrum is preparing for another tournament in USA and hoping to win that tournament as well.
Our world class coach is here relying on his regular players?
Who does that kę?
I was talking here yesterday and Oga Rohr fans were insulting me because they don’t know there right and I am trying all my best to educate them and I’m so glad today that they are reading Oga Rohr comment.
I am coming back on that yesterday’s issue. Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!
This is a rare opportunity for Oga Rohr to test the ability of his new and unused players to prosecute the Mexico game.
You worried? You have the players to do you a favour against the Mexican team.
I can help you on this Oga Rohr.
Invite this players: Dessers, Umar Sodiq, Moffi and Simy
Alanpasun, Osagwe and Yakubu.
Nwakali Brothers, Olayinka, Onyekuru, Iwuala, Marcus, Abubarka and Alfa to say the least and mix them with few regular players and camp them for two weeks.
Yes, just two weeks and I bet you, you will be surprised because football is in our blood and this is the only sport we really good at in Africa and most especially, in Nigeria.
Nonetheless, we don’t have time to rely on any player because we are Nigeria.
We can see now that the gaffer and NFF are the problems of the Super Eagles?
No communications between the national coach and the NFF.
However, that is not an excuse. As a coach, you can build around the players you have and form a solid team within a month because we have the players and we still have time to do this.
We are still in May, send the invitation letter to the players before it is too late.
If I were you Oga Rohr, I will prove my worth by forming a solid B team for Mexico match.
I will bench most of my regular players and give the chance to the new players to prove their worth to me.
Before the match, I make it known to Nigerians that don’t expect too much from this team because I am trying to have a B team in case of uncertainty of our regular players due to Covid-19 pandemic. By doing this, you have putting the pressure off yourself.
Therefore, Dessers is desperate to play for Nigeria. Osagwe is thirst to be in goal post. Adi is another option if Sodiq and Simy are not available.
You don’t need Ndidi because we have Nwobodo. We have all these players available.
No disrespect to these countries,
We are not Lesotho, Togo, Benin, Madagascar and Libya but we are Nigeria. We have fantastic, energetic, workaholic and amazing players we can choose from.
Don’t be pandemic, or fear Mr. Rohr.
Life isn’t easy and here is my advise for you Mr. Rohr.
It’s supposed to be hard and if it wasn’t hard, everyone would do it. The hard is what makes it great.
Hmm. Soon, when all is well, you are going to look back on this period and be so glad that you never gave up.
Don’t forget about my section 50 50 that saying that “for you to move mountains tomorrow, you have to start moving stones today”.
Meaning, for you to win Afcon trophy in Cameroon, and take the world by storm at the world cup in Qatar, you have to make some sacrifices and this is part of them.
Having said that, you should be happy that you are in charge of Nigerian team. We are the most blessed Country in Africa that have so many young talented players and so why worrying yourself Oga Rohr?
Remember that Amunike and Egbo are waiting to do this job for us if you don’t impressed us.
I wish you the best because I don’t want your failure. I appreciate you.
Fear not, God is with you and we are solidly behind you but please put the fear and over relying on players aside and make us proud. I won’t say more than that. Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!
Mexico may not show up, if l may add, to play this friendly match if the Nigeria World renown players are missing. Most Mexican fans knows so well of Iheanacho, Ndidi, Onuachu, Osimhen, Iwobi Balogun, Samu Chukwueze and others notable players doing their thing in France. If Rohr is compelled to go to Los Angelis, without these players, no body will show up to watch. Everybody in the World knows most of these remarkable Nigerian players just like you & me and would pay any amount to see them live in USA. NFF, do not compel Rohr on this issue or else.
@Dr.Drey… Stop making my submissions personal, today it’s about me not knowing so much as to how available professional players can be due to their club end-of-season programs, the other day it was you mentioning personal comparisons about me marrying a white woman while advising against top black athletes always choosing Caucasian women… guy you can do a lot to stop throwing rejoinders regarding my personal life whenever I comment… Just saying! As a player, because you are going off on holidays does not mean you go and start sleeping and eating junks and abusing booze anyhow. Top professionals always keep their fitness regime when on holidays… Clubs of some of the players mentioned are always happy often when they are called up for national team duties… Call-up the players and seek their consent ahead if they want to participate, if yes, then forward mails asap to get their clubs officially notified… it’s a high profile friendly and some of the players who have been waiting for official caps and those who want more action like Junior Ajayi, Kelechi Nwakali, Anayo Iwuala, Simmy Nwankwo, Sadiq Umar, Terem Moffi will jump at the opportunity. It’s a time players are likely to be in pre-season and holidays but involved players/clubs directly now and plan ahead… Some high profile names like Ndidi, Iheanacho, Osimhen and Chukwueze may not grace it but it is an opportunity for others to stepup and be counted… if no professional players will be available, then draw up the best local players in every position and give them ample preparation in camp… I don’t see why the likes of Shehu Abullaho, Musa Mohammed (former U-17 captain) can’t be part of the team… Let us see what Junior Ajayi and Kelechi Nwakali can do in such games… since they have been spoiling for squad involvements.
Hahahahaha….nothing is personal my brother. It is just equity calling you to come into its temple with clean hands. Say what you mean and mean what you say. When you deride people for having relationships with Caucasians while you are MARRIED to one, what does that say of your person…?? When you go ahead to tell people you are and ex-footballer, swearing by the names of people that you are one and end up making proselytical statements just like these, you end up ridiculing yourself and insulting our collective sensibilities. Mean what you say and say what you mean, otherwise you will be seen as nothing short of an hypocrite. It is your own statements calling you to account and nothing personal.
The coach stated clearly and loudly
.
“To get the Super Eagles in Europe is impossible,” Rohr told ESPN. “They will all be in pre-season with their clubs. SO I WILL BE ABLE TO ONLY MAKE SELECTION OF PLAYERS FROM NIGERIA”
I dont even see any complaints here, neither am I seeing any excuse. It is your collective hatred for the man that has made 2 simple sentences so incomprehensible to yáll. He is just making a statement of fact and telling the interviewer his next line of action. You just come here rable-rousing like you know or can do more than the coach, whereas from precedence your thought process and decision-making abilities are even far worse than the man you’ve severally referred to as dumb and senile. This is a man who played decades of his career in Europe as A PROFESSIONAL. This is a coach who has coached decades in Europe as a LICENCED COACH. Do you know more than him what the football climate looks like in Europe in July every year….???
Oga…..if you dont know, which I know you dont, off-season is a time professional players do and undo all they haven’t been able to do all season. Off-season is a time they jettison their strict dietary and fitness regimes just to have some freedom and rest for soul, body and spirit. That is why each one of them looks forward to the off-season holidays like children look forward to christmas…..and guess what…they NEVER joke with it. Coming here to tell us Top professionals always keep their fitness regime when on holidays is rather preposterous and shocking…if this is so, why have you literarily been threatening to hang yourself over the continual call of Ahmed Musa to the national team….If it is so, why do clubs assemble for weeks in pre-season camps and spend the first 3 weeks of their camping on intensive fitness trainings. Why wont they just recall them 1 week before the start of the season and jump into their 1st games of the season since the players have been “keeping their fitness regimes”……I see some double-speaking here.
Yea, Clubs are always happy when they are called up for national duties….but not during offseason or non-FIFA window matches….and that’s a fact. If clubs can stop their players from participating in Olympics, U23 AFCON or any tournaments outside FIFA windows, who told you they will be happy to see their players going to play inconsequential friendlies requiring long hours of travel outside FIFA windows right in the middle of pre-season….??? Moreover, preseason is the time players tie down shirts in the first XI of their clubs, at least for the 1st half of the season. So you want a player who isnt sure of making the SE main team all the same, to abandon his chance to stake a 1st team shirt at club level for an inconsequential friendly and then loose his place at club level for a place that isnt even nearing guaranteed in the SE..??? So if you are managing players, as a player manager you will tell your client to skip 8-10 days of pre-season camp to fly all the way to the US and back to trial with the national team….??? LMAO….no problem when he ends up on the bench in club when the season commences, he will definitely get many callups to the national team from the bench.
.
In case you missed it…“To get the Super Eagles in Europe is impossible,” Rohr told ESPN. They will all be in pre-season with their clubs. SO I WILL BE ABLE TO ONLY MAKE SELECTION OF PLAYERS FROM NIGERIA”
Rohr hasnt asked for your advice, as you can see, he already knows what exactly to do.
After all said and done, after all your back and forth, switching and ducking, your comments still show that you agree that the timing of this high-profile friendly against no 11 ranked team in the world isnt right. That’s all that matters.
Well for those who are saying the Mexico match is inconsequential like my friend @Dr.Drey… When the game is being played turn off your black-and-white… One thing is that, @Dr.Drey is more civil with his criticisms now and it is a bit more healthy to banter arguments with him… @Dr.Drey… Euro 2020 taking place as now Euro 2021 is from June 11 – July 11,2021 and our game
Versus Mexico is July 4. Except a club that is gready… The antention this off season is the US Gold Cup and Euro 2021 and no serious preseason is commencing till the tournament of Euro 2021 is over… all that is needed is good liason with the players and clubs… do you know how many players that will be willing to take part in that match from their heart of hearts? Games like that is top “Show yourself” games that top clubs like to keep tabs on to see players that they may be secretly admiring… Wait bro, you want to tell me that if the clubs are approached with a good face and intent, all of them will say no
to players release? Rohr cannot be so sure and certainly not 100% right! The game is an off season game and except clubs want to be unrealistic… every European player that really matter will still be at the Euros including coaches and clubs’ player scouts… You want to tell if Kelechi Nwakali, Simmy and Junior Ajayi is invited and their clubs are properly liased with… they will say no? I mean these are the players who even have a duty to convince the coach and Nigerians still… Again my friend @Dr.Drey… I don’t buy your excuses of an argument… also, the players will be gone from their clubs and holidays for not more than a week… 24hrs travel to the states, a day of recovery, two days of training and on the 4th day of arriving US, they will be fresh enough to play the game and give good account of themselves. We have to prosecute that match at whatever cost because the national team is often scarcely engaged. The likes of Marcus Abraham’s club Feirense will release him, even Nwakali, also Ike Ugbo… Make we stop complain wey no hold water abeg. Coach Rohr get to work… it’s like he wants to be live at the stadium during Euro 2021 and does not want to travel anywhere, least of all, the US assumed to be a full day’s travel… Let’s pick a few good home based and ginger them up with other established fringe players… give games to the likes of Nwakali, Junior Ajayi, Musa Mohammed, Shehu Abdullahi and Uzoho who wants to attend make them clear your doubt. Me I am very happy for the timing of the game… Anyone who is not happy should give us an alternative. This time to test Oladoye of Gent, who is tutored to have the solid body of game to deputise for an Ndidi in the not-too-distant future… Again. @Dr.Drey… My wife and I dey same level, I no be money-loaded Black athlete… go and ask Emmanuel Eboue how far, also ask Mikel Obi whether him wife go gree born again and if male pikin no the hungry am get… Take further and ask Elder Michael Obi, Mikel’s father how far with him pink pie? When a high profile white male footballer marry a woman like our bkackies from Senegal… Come back with argument and defense wey make brain… Na God save your non-playing captain say na black woman him divorce… the way English courts for barb him skull if say na whitie or Black Briton… Maybe na old Volkswagen 404 him for the use enter training for Kano Pillars… Hahaha. If Mikel no the fear make him marry him whitie through courts legally… the girl popsy get money we know… but make bros Mikel marry her officially make we see and try to divorce her… when him hear asawana him go know say “5” and “6 minus 1” no be the same.
“To get the Super Eagles in Europe is impossible Rohr told ESPN. They will all be in pre-season with their clubs. SO I WILL BE ABLE TO ONLY MAKE SELECTION OF PLAYERS FROM NIGERIA”
owngoalnigeria.com/2021/05/21/exclusive-rohr-lines-up-five-us-based-players-18-npfl-stars-for-super-eagles-vs-mexico-game/
When you are done with your blind and unrealistic arguments you will crawl back to your kernel. Nor be only good liaison and heart of hearts. You will tell us if European clubs work with sentiments when it has to do with the health of their prized players. NFF nor get good laision when clubs no gree release players for u23 AFCONs, Olympics or other non-FIFA window engagements abi. NFF no get good liasion when French clubs refused to release our players for last qualifiers abi. Clap for yourself…excellent thinking. Thank God the “dumb and senile” coach armed with years of past experience and precedence has thought light years ahead of going cap in hand to beg clubs like you are postulating. If a “dumb and senile” coach can sense this from afar, it baffles one that someone who claims to have been a pro can yet still be this proselyte in thinking. Its always easier said than done. When clubs even give their players strict warnings on the kinds of sporting activities they are allowed to be involved in while on holidays in order to allow full recovery of their systems.
Almost all leagues will be concluded between now and next week…..those who are not participating in any competitions will be asked to report back for pre-season much earlier than those in competitions. You will call up players who have been on holidays for 6-7 weeks to fly from their different holiday and pre-season camping destinations to US to suffer muscle tears and ligament damage playing friendlies on Non-FIFA windows against a team fresh from pre-tournament camp…..and you say Rohr is Dumb and Senile…..LMAO…. Weldone sir. Na you wan teach coach how and what to do….LMAO. Weldone once again sir. Sincere condolences to whoever takes you seriously. Talk as they say is always cheap, especially from the comfort of one’s armchair……LMAO
Mr. Rohr. Won’t the Mexican players be on pre-season or holidays with the family too? So, why this excuse if they Mexican coach isn’t complaining. Mr. Man, get down to work… You are already scared. Fear fear coachie. I know you already expect a draw or low score loss. Hahahaha. Sorry in advance… Zambia once played the afcon, then known as Africa nations cup with their under23 team, after their national team got sadly got involved in a plane clash. Very sad occurrence. They makeshift team, played the final match again Nigeria Nigeria. Lost narrowly, 2:1, I think… So, solve this problem. Leave the excuse please
@Oso… Very optimistic brother. The coach the fear… Otherwise who won’t jump at a chance to play Mexico? He is already panicking regulars won’t be available… We have enough others to callup.
I think the coach is right. The timing is absolutely way off….we need to be Blending and fortifying our main team looking at where we are at with big teams like Mexico and looking to strengthen the team…. please urge Mexico to reorganize the date. The outcome of match might affect our ranking as well if not properly prosecuted. We need to see our A team seriously tested and this one of those opportunities.
May be at least if you had read others comment ahead, you wouldn’t have typed this. For your information, the Mexicans are in camp preparing for a major continental tournament, so it’s expected their club to release them for such tournament
Yes sir. Mexican players will be in preseason and on holidays with their families too sir. They will go straight from their holidays and preseason camps to the CONCACAF cup starting in July…Lolz. The Zambian crash was in April 1993, AFCON was in March/April 1994…compare apples to apples and not to coconut. The current scenario is entirely different.
NFF has let us down again: poor-planning and wretched decision-making. If you’re planning a friendly at a particular time, won’t you take time to reflect and ask yourself what is it you’re attempting to achieve? If the goal for this game is to hone the skills of our players for the WC qualifiers, why not select a time when our first choice players would be available? But, of course, if we are merely aiming to uplift our overall football development, one could use players from the NPL. But would Mexico accept to play our second-tier players?
They keep saying Rohr is a mechanic, PE personnel and other derogatory titles, but they don’t understand the man. Is this the time to spend scarce resources to execute an aimless match?
@Jimmyball,you are not getting the point at all.I respect your views but way off the issues.
Hmmmm….! This one deep….! LMAO
@Emnanuel… I get the point succinctly. It’s not a game NFF planned. It’s the Mexico FA inviting Nigeria… Is it a cash-strapped coach-salary-owing NFF that will organize a grade A friendly? They were just invited, as I am sure the Cameroun game also was largely the idea and planning of FECAFOOT and not NFF. Whatever unfavourable reasons there might be to see the game as happening at an odd time… we all know, players will be holidaying or deep in pre-season with their clubs, we know… What I am saying is, Coach Rohr cutting the excuses and rather than for all the negative reasons and others why the match is not happening at a preferred time… let us see it for all the positives, we must not win every game… send out advanced and timely invites to alert the players and their club, those pros abroad who will be likely and certain not to honour based on the position of their club and personal programs, move away from those ones and integrate others who will be excited to take part… We have the likes of Paul Mukairu (Anderlecht), Oladoye (Gent), Moffi, Simmy, Junior Ajayi, Azubuike, Ejike and sound other sound home-based… I believe we have players even better than Iwuala in the league of NPFL to call on… Let’s be positive and prosecute the game with players who are ready to be capped and willing to participate. Nigeria has enough to call for the game aside the usual regulars if the usual regulars re stopped by their clubs or personal holidaying plans… Rohr should quit the complain and see what’s possible for all the good benefits. One love…
You still have not gotten the point despite claiming to be an ex-footballer, to what purpose will the match serve if the coach invite complete team to execute a match that will not add value to his plans for the nation cup or the world cup qualifiers, if about 70% of his squad were available you could add fresh 30% for continuity and stability of the team not inviting an entire new team to play a match when we still have over 10 standby players waiting to break into the team, honestly, i don’t know you people understand the game of soccer, and like someone rightly advice up there stop opening your mouth waaaaa if you have nothing upstairs to contribute.
Dr.Drey is cloning names to win a debate that will feed his hungry family.
Hehehehe…..if your family had food you wouldn’t be here scavenging. LMAO.
You will tell me if it was your father’s name I cloned or your mother’s.
You master has been beaten black and blue and is already frustrated…..LMAO…the best you can do is bark on his behalf…LMAO.
Dr.Drey must be KangA, Debo, Edoman,CollinsID and everyone who has refused to remain in dreamland like your master….LMAO
When people are blinded by hatred, they become very insensible. You cannot reason with such people. Hatred and sensibility are completely divergent. Some comments here are simply based on hatred. That is why such people will not be able to reason correctly. That is very sad.
@Debo… Do you even know the meaning of hatred? So encouraging Rohr to focus on the positives and see which players and their club will like let us have some key/fringe players who would to be involved in the friendly is hatred? How has stating an opinion become hatred? Can the coach not used the avenue of the Cameroun get-together to inquire directly and know players who would like to be a part of the Mexico game? Some of you are very easily sold to defeatist mentality… so if we don’t have our first eleven for Super Eagles, Nigeria can’t play friendly again? Is Mexico so far above Nigeria in the practicality and realities of global football? Some of you are just nuisances on this forum… dumb because you all never played the game to know it very simple. Let NFF/Rohr make the necessary contacts to players/clubs now and share the position of players participation within latest one week from now… emails are free, it’s real-time activity and nobody needs to post physical letters in this modern world… Some of you are just driven by envy and a blind spirit of antaganism here! Even Joachim Loew gets heavily criticized in Germany despite being a World Cup winner for them… So because of Nations Cup in January 2022, World Cup Qualifiers starting September 2021, in a group which Cape Verde is the only real threat if we are serious… Nigeria should not play Mexico in a game in the USA again because first eleven will not have chance, because the Coach sees the date as wrong timing and the match as needless? Some of you need to borrow sense from Chimpanzee… You all with negative mindset should advise the coach to tell his employers it is not a workable time window… If them say make everybody comot Waec certificate make we show English language pass level now some of una go run… yet una go come here the speak English wey una no really know the meaning… “blinded by hatred” go and fell that to Joseph Dosu, Mobi Oparaku, Finidi George… When Musa unfair invitation issue come up na so una bend tongue the say rubbish here based on sentiments… See Julian Draxler no even make German Euro 2021 squad… yet heaven no fall. Has he not often recently captained Germany in games? If na Nigeria sentimental Bingos go say Jamil Musiala should be dropped for Julian Draxler.
*antagonism* before some smart Alec move from the substance of my post to correct my spelling even though e no get D7 for Waec English.
Hahahaha…you score A for English naim you still no know the difference between
“…To get the Super Eagles in Europe IS IMPOSSIBLE…”
“…To get the Super Eagles in Europe WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE…”
and
“…To get the Super Eagles in Europe MAY BE IMPOSSIBLE…”
If only your comprehension was top notch, 80% of the times on CSN you wouldn’t even be “…opening your mouth waaa…” according to @Sean, “…talking way off the issues…” according to @Emmanuel and “…embarrassing yourself…” according to @Ola.
Your inability to critically distill simple written English, think and comment with an clear-head rather than with your heart is you biggest undoing. That’s why you always end up goofing again and again and trust Dr.Drey to always document then properly for you…..LMAO
Choiii! Some people can sting like bees here. See how dem dey chook chook some beer palour coaches here. Lol… “open your mouth waaa!”..,.
@Sean… You no even fit elicit reaction from me because in Sam Loco’s voice… “you be small fry” just face front… you wey never suck thumb finish as a bomboy wey you be… you want carry yourself come pokenose for weightclass wey go crush your cricket muscle… creep back to your dark little hole go chirp joor!
@Jimmyball, stop embarrassing yourself every now and then, that’s how you claimed to based in Germany and you said you stayed up late to watch Crystal palace vs Leicester city match that was played by 8pm in London. Same way you claimed to marry a white and same you is the one lambasting blacks that are dating white, same you claimed to be an ex footballer but completely ignorant of importance of grade A friendly, what does that speak of you?
Either you are a chronic liar or just like to claim what you are not. For your information, no one cares about your base, career, qualifications or status but the sense that comes from your mouth.
@Drey and other forumite has tried to explain in details for you, but @Debo rightly said, hatred has becloud your sense of judgment.
You got to understand how things works in football world, it’s a combination of entertainment and business and every business managers will guide his assets jealously.
You said the euro will be on by then, yes that’s true, but euro is only for European players, every other non European players, and even European players that are not included will be in camp, for preseason and this is the most important part of any fringe players career, because he will want to stake a shirt therefore no diversion.
If you are truly an ex player you will understand this because it’s a simple logic.
Come to think of it, what do you think that Rohr will gain from using our team C to prosecute a match? Which one of them will be involved in qualifiers let alone the tournament proper? If Rohr looses that match, you and your cohorts will be the first to castigate him, ignoring the fact that you are the one encouraging him to use fringe players.
Rohr never said he won’t honor the match, he only let us know the quality of players he will use. Accept the fact that the timing is wrong and the friendly is of no use to us.
See this one? What’s the time difference between Berlin Local Time and Greenwich Mean Time for London/Nigeria… So to dey Europe naim dey big for you? Come Norway, Germany and Sweden make you see asylum seekers from the horn of Africa we no do pass secondary school full everywhere… even Edo, Delta boys wey smart full everywhere… na because you dense no know as e the go naim you still dey trapped for Nigeria the feel say to dey abroad na big thing… You sound like one very big mumu. I can see @Dr.Drey… stroking your head and back like a little cat on his lap… go the next mama-put go eat Ewa Gonyi and Big size Agege bread with Orobo Pepsi make your blood pressure calm down… I know say na hunger make you jump down from @Dr.Drey lap come the muse where I dey this afternoon… Eiyah Sorry joor!
@jimmyball easy oo lol, you get bad mouth sha
Eranko, big time fool. Who is talking about asylum here? Mumu, arguing with you is like arguing with dumb ass. You don’t worth my time
@Ola… We are not arguing. You use uncivil language and I replied. Did you see me insult @Dr.Drey? You no the learn naim make I give you small portion of your own medicine… have you eaten your Ewa Gonyi finish? Hahaha… Oya, drink Kunu join. Welldone… good boy. Now off you go… Lol.
My brother you get time to dey reply some morons. There ability to think critically baffles me a great deal. When the parrot mouth comes out with his epistle and you try to present a different view, you become an enemy. Bro let them answer the simple question have been asking about this friendly. Is the PE teacher telling us that
1. This friendly was arranged behind him without his approval
2. or he was aware and he objected to there plans.
Someone earlier said of what benefit is this friendly, thanks for reminding them that the NFF is broke. And they are desperate for money has we speak. Read somewhere that Alloy Agu is owed 17 months salary and Rorh 6 months. So let them answer those questions, because he right thinking coach will not come online and berate his employers, except he is fed up
Hahahaha….jimmy’s pet dog. Special adviser to jimmy….LMAO. Is your master complaining…LMAO. Or are your trying to bail him out of this failed misson once again…LMAO. Mussu is asking stupid questions up and down. Simple English he cannot even read and understand yet he calls others morons…LMAO. Donkey brain pls point out where Rohr berated or even appeared to berate the NFF is this article….LMAO. Mr critical thinker that cannot even understand a simple passage, tell us where it is stated or the impression given that the friendly was arranged without his approval or that he wasn’t aware or objected to the plans. Mr mumu critical thinker with long mouth like that of a pig has quickly restructured the whole context of of the article with his donkey brains….LMAO
That’s how they read from right to left like people from quranic schools and come here to tell us lies and argue blindly….LMAO. And he calls others morons…LMAO…anyway a mad man always sees himself as okay and other as mad people. So i’m not surprised….LMAO
All these pple trying to make a mountain of out of a very little hill have agenda in mind which we all know.
Their aim is to see the downfall of super eagles ASAP.
These statements made by rohr is very simple and clear even to an illiterate but the hatred embedded in their hearts against the innocent foreigner would never allow them to read and comprehend.
“To get the Super Eagles in Europe is impossible,” Rohr told ESPN.
“They will all be in pre-season with their clubs. So I will be able only to make selection of players from Nigeria.”
Guys I really don’t get this Hullaballoo whey everybody they talk up and down like this. Lets get the fact straight first before commenting and abusing each other up and down like this.
First and foremost, I believe this reporter must have misquoted Rohr out of contest or both the reporter and GR were ill informed and naive. Reason for saying that is explained below:
UEFA EURO 2021 begins from June 11th To July 11th 2021 and the match in question is July 3rd 2021.
No Clubside in Europe will open camp for Pre-season training during this period, absolutely impossible as most of their players, managers and scouts will be involved directly or indirectly with this championship.
95% of SE Players ply their trade in Europe, so how is this going to affect or prevent them from honouring our invitation
As per the fact that they will be busy Holidaying during this time, nothing stops them from dispersing from camp on 5th June after Cameroon game, go on to enjoy a 2 to 3 weeks holiday and then converge back in Camp 1 week to the match to perfect their strategies for the Grade A friendly with Mexico. Thereafter they can still enjoy another 1 to 2 weeks holiday before they go back to their respective Clubs for Pre-season.
So guys, Rohr need to be informed about this scenario which is highly more likely to play out so he can work around this. Am sure that all players of the Super Eagles will very much love to play that all important friendly with Mexico as they can’t afford to lose out in the fierce fight for starting role in our dear Super Eagles.
Please let’s stop these abusive words and focus on proffering solutions instead, even if someone suggested something that is not workable, let us rather humbly correct or enlighten him without any fight as we are all here to learn
Normally clubs are open for preseason during tournaments.
Any team that are eliminated will have their players joining their club training camps after observing at least a week of rest as the case may be.
Clubs cannot wait until after the Euro’s to start preseason. The players available will start preseason and the ones in tournaments will joing the others when they exit or after the tournament should they make it to the semi’s.
@Greenturf… agreed but most players partaking in the Euros will not be rushed to join up immediately. Players who graced tournaments are often given extended holidays sometimes up to 2weeks and sometimes less. But our concern should be liason with clubs and players… Only those who want to be part with their clubs permission… some with their club giving the OK may even still opt out. But I do not see how Simy, Ajayi (Al Ahly), Marcus Abraham, Paul Mukairu, Ike Ugbo, Nwakali, Terem Moffi, and Chidera Ejuke would not want to play that game… atimes it’s a player’s body language that will sway his or her club into release. The Cameroun friendly is the real substance to our World Cup preps and if we can get another friendly with an African Opposition within that window will also be great… The Mexico friendly should be an opportunity to test players like Sadiq Umar, Moffi, Ike Ugbo if we can get our acts together… as I see it!
That’s exactly the scenario @Greenturf. Clubs don’t have to wait till the end of the Euros to begin Preseason. Most clubs will commence their preparations for the new season by June ending/first week of July. Although I think there might be a chance that most of the players will be available for that Mexico match. The only issue will be securing entry into the United States due to various travel restrictions. I laugh when someone said the coach is already afraid to face Mexico LMAO!! Obviously some of the tried and trusted may not be available, but there’ll be some talents on parade. Good home based players and a few fringe players should have a chance to show their potentials. July 3 will probably be the beginning of Preseason so I expect quite a number of our regulars to be available for that encounter.
@Ayphillydegreat… now you are talking. Can the coach and NFF start consultations with clubs and players for availability and update us? The chance appears slim but I believe we can get atleast a handful of our main regulars… That’s how to be proactive and optimistic. I have not said Rohr had done bad by voicing his concerns… no. But do we outrightly throw away the chance? Friendly no easy to organize and get against good opposition at short notice o… Most high profile football nations have their planned friendly already sorted atimes like a year ahead… Just waiting for the date.
There is no need to fight over this issue @jimmyball, you know i am not a big fan of anybody, so i will always hit the nail on the head, the coach is very right on this case, the nff have created a very interesting friendly for us wish i appreciate, but i most be honest with you it will be a nonsense to feed npfl players, for such a big game, if you watch algeria vs mesico 3 3 draw you will realise how interesting it is to play a team like mesico, me and u live in germany maybe one of these future days we will make an appointment to meet, or even play together, i am the present captain of nigeria fc, freiburg, i can even invite you for a match if you are still fit enough, i want u to see that even the Nigerians here who are still looking for a way into professional leagues, expecially the ones in verbands liga, oberliga, and landeslig, i believe you know these german amateur leagues or semiprof leagues, these players are still much better than npfl players, there is one yoroba boy called jimor, in oberliga, he is so good that he had reached 40 goals in a season, and another paul, who is a very good midfielder, we have tried many times with our influence and organisation to get a trial in belgium 2nd division for these guys, who for me a far better than those our local npfl boys tecknically and artisticaly, but we still havent gotten a chance for them due to corabavirus, and some asylum issues, you people are gradualy given homebase free visa to national team just bcos their homebased not bcos they are good nigerian footballers. Even me my self nor be say i am bluffing, i am far better than most of the npfl players you are clamouring for barring fitness isues. They are not good at the moment i hope they get better in the future, but for now 70 percent cant secure an italian serie D teams shirt. And you kno it, using them for eagles match against mexico for me is total see finish for our eagles and to the entire nation, think about it when you invite players like marcus or ejuke nwakali for games like that without at list 70 percent regulars in the field will definately affect their performance too, they may not even see the ball before the end of the game nomatter how good you are, if mexico play you half field all through you may not even have one goal attempt, this is not mockery its reality, you remember algeria friendly in austra that was missing etebo ndidi and aribo, only three key players oh, we couldnt secure up to two goal attempt in that match, imagine say the others where mixing algeria could bit us with 5 goals margin in that match and fifa or Nigeria football lovers dont care about the team you presented, they only care about the result. All we should be talking here is to see how nff can possibly reshedule the match for a better timing where we can be confident of victory or at worst a draw. I dont like to see eagles lose matches wether na friendly or na texting e nor concern me nor be by force, the npfl already have the chan turnament to showcase their talents for us and that is good enough for their level. I know u will like to refer to keshi but dont forget keshi still needed one goal from ike uche to go pass namibia for us to qualify for afcon 2013, despite all the time he used to prepare our homebase players they still couldnt go pass namibia without ike uche, i repeat namibia.
@Collins id… Honestly it was Rohr who suggested using entirely home-based and some MLS current players. My only argument is rather than throw away the chance to square against Mexico if first regulars won’t be available, you could ask the consent of the clubs first and see how their plan for the date from June 30th – July 6th, 2021 is? You mentioned players like Marcus Abraham, Kelechi Nwakali not being able to come into their element against a side like Mexico, I disagree, as I don’t think so, I believe they can hold their own with the proper tactics deployed, we must not win every match and who says even of we fielded our first teamers, that we can even win against Mexico? If players like Marcus will be lost against Mexico then what’s the point inviting him now to the Eagles against Cameroun, in my opinion the match against Athletic Madrid showed that a team largely made of home boys cannot be all crappy… I am not calling for an all home-based, we gave 31 coming to camp for Cameroun, just in about two weeks, why don’t we allow consultations from now till then and see clubs that will be willing to release players and players who will be willing to go to US for the game… no one can tell me that after a great Season, Simy, Sadiq, Ugbo, Dessers, Collins, Nwakali, Junior Ajayi, Akin Amoo, Oladoye, and Moffi if they can get their way and Consent from club will not want to be part of the game? I just don’t see the logic… why don’t the coach make consultations before shouting the idea of a wrong time slot down… My question is… if we by chance don’t have most of our regulars available anytime, can Nigeria not play a friendly invitationational? Who says Ajayi Junior can’t play at the level of Mexico, haba, what about Olayinka, what about Iyayi Atiemwen, how about Paul Mukairu? Man… my views maybe different but I do not see the Mexico match as a must win for Nigeria… I believe so much in a fearless player like Iwuala, and I know there may be about 5 to 6 players who are still young like him and roundly better than him in the NPFL to deploy against Mexico… We must find ways to encourage these guys and not shut them out as not good enough… our league is not yet so professional in terms of coaching, officiating, welfare and pitches but honestly, talents abound in the league… my take! If we feel Super Eagles is for Nigerians and not a select few… We must look well, materials abound.
Hahahahaha…ex-footballer. So it is through phone calls from national coaches to club managements players get released for international engagement…wow…LMAO.
… Hahahaha. See @Dr.Drey that enjoys his underlings (pet birds and cats) perching & sitting on his lap with him stroking their heads and backs in gratification… hahaha. Me I am just a servant of truth and honesty of Ball fans all over the world… I can even run errand on bare foot for the likes of @Kenneth,@Omo9ja,@Deo,@Collins id, @Mr.Hush,@Abdulhandsy,@Bomboy from kickoff Nigeria, @Chux Haifa, and all other men wey Sabi with balanced views and criticisms… but I will nominate and help my friend @Dr.Drey appoint new lap pets… we need @Dr.Drey take care of underlings with emotional palpitations here… hahahahahaha. My people unu goodmorning! Lol…
Hahahahaha….your envy of Dr.Drey has been the worst kept secret on this forum. At least my “pet cats and dogs” can comprehend simple English and think sensibly and hence don’t come here arguing blindly, asking stupid questions and cooking up stories that have no sources. On the contrary, their contributions on this forum fills one with pride. There cant be anything more gratifying.
If only you will stop talking from both sides of your mouth, glacing it with little sauce of lies here and there from time to time, then you will like Dr.Drey have many more queuing up at your bosom for you to stroke their heads rather than the sheepish donkey who follows you about pleading with you not to respond anymore so you don’t continue embarrassing him and yourself….LMAO.
Servant of “truth and honesty” indeed….LMAO. You would have been on the forbes list if you got a penny for every fallacy you have peddled on this forum in the last 1 year alone….LMAO.
Enjoy your day with your donkey…! LMAOooooo.
My man, you are one of the highly intelligent guy in this this forum, together with aphilydegreat, deo, greenturf, Glory, etc.. I do enjoy the submission of of u guys, however, replying to that moron up there is like coming down to his level
…hahaha. Someone said @Dr.Drey always cloning multiple aliases on CSN to win arguments… it appears most vigilant forumites are beginning to catch some folks for their desperation to sound convincing albeit often shallow… @Ola, hahaha, I see you going off like the usual braying lap-donkey every decent contributor have come to know on CSN forum… hahahaha. A day that goes by without the lap donkey carrying load as the beast-of-burden that he is for his master is considered a sorrowful day in his life… because his bald head won’t receive any stroking by his personal master… hahaha. Now for those decent forumites who care and considers truthfulness and objectivity as virtues of real and serious-minded fellows on this forum… read yourselves and see what preseason player return dates looks like for premier league clubs especially and most European clubs after season end holidays for most regular seasons even without the consideration of Euros nations championship as happening in this year 2021… with Euros this year, most national European leagues won’t even be having the luxury of their players returning for preseasons before July 4, when our match versus Mexico takes place in the USA, I am very sure the date of the match, July 4, was carefully chosen by Mexico FA, and agreed to, by NFF with club preseason start dates factoring in… Read guys and know whose arguments often comes off without proper deep thoughts to it… hahaha. By fire by force one emotional Oracle must win an argument…
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.skysports.com/amp/football/news/11095/10900483/when-do-premier-league-clubs-return-for-pre-season
NOW… TELL US WHY MEXICO Vs NIGERIA on JULY 4,2021 CANNOT BE FEASIBLE WITH AT LEAST 13 OF OUR REGULAR TEAM PLAYERS?
Hahahahahaha…I clone aliases indeed. I sure I am the same person as collinsid, edoman, greenturf, emmanuel, Ola and all the rest who have refused to agree with your stupidity….LMAO…and have jointly agreed with common sense that the schedule of the friendly is indeed ill-timed. Its even funny this allegation is coming from someone who has been caught red, blue and green handed many times, on one of such occasions lying it was his email address….LMAO…email address without an @gmail, yahoo, hotmail or any other domain name and on the other occasion, after being battered severely, suddenly switching to a phantom 1naija name just to hurl insults at Dr.Drey …..LMAO….using the same lexicons and writing signatures he had used the whole day…LMAO. You think I belong to the category of people you can fool…?? LMAO. If you allege I clone aliases, kindly publish the IP and MAC address details of Dr.Drey and his aliases or forever hold your peace.
Your desperation has made you to go copy the link schedule of 2017/2018 pre-season (4 years ago) to back up your baseless arguement, and i doubt if you even read it because most of the clubs resumed between the last week of June and the 1st week of July….LMAO….If you weren’t an olodo, you should have known that that basically shoots down your position for good…..LMAO. I doubt you even read and properly comprehended the article before rushing to post the link….LMAO. That is the same way you usually open your mouth waaaaaaaa to comment here without thinking. LMAO.
The 2021/22 season will even start 3 or 4 weeks earlier than the last, because of the timing of the 2022 world cup, meaning presason camps will also most likely open earlier. And irrespective of the various continental tournaments holding in Europe, North and South America, only players who parcitipated in those competitions will be excepted from resuming with their colleagues who didnt….and we are just talking of a couple of players here, not all players in the entire league…..LMAO. But Mr. I-too-know, Mr I sabi football management pass NFF and Coach has been arguing blindly for the past 48 hours. You will tell us if your desire to have the best players possible to win that match is greater than that of the Coach himself.
Just continue with your rabble-rousing, you apparently know better than the coach and FA who are always in constant touch with the players. Your sheepish donkey @ade/kenneth will soon come to plead with you again to stop disgracing yourself…..LMAOOOoooo.
…hahahaha. @Dr.Drey… Can never resist the impulse to openly insult. Oga… European clubs won’t even be moving preseasons to Asia, North America this year as they often do in previous years… reasons are because of stadium crowd attendance shutout and cuts owing to lingering Corona virus issues… Normally clubs sign hefty marketing and participation deals with funding being mostly sourced from commercials around fan attendance, ticketing, jersey sales and corporate commercials and adverts from popular squad members… this year clubs want to do preseason locally around Europe and their home environment… So I don’t know why our game in early July 2021 against Mexico will distort preseasons plans for any clubs… Most players participating in the US Gold Cup, Copa America’s, and Euros won’t report for preseason before July 10,2021 as stated by popular websites regarding starting of preps for season 2022/2021… Premier League kickoff has even been moved by almost a week from the start date of August 9, 2020 for last year 2020/2021 season to August 15,2021 for the kickoff of the 2021/2022 season… so the braying, neighing, quacking, cuckooing, bleating and chirping of @Dr.Drey and his underlings, pets and minions for wrong timing and unoracticability of Super Eagles friendly versus Mexico on July 4, in their usual animal cries to discredit good and helpful suggestions to help our darling Super Eagles falls flat for a lack of basis in the first place… there is no alarm and irksome worries as the game though happening at a delicate and tight time does not really pose any distortion of club preseasons plans, neither does it pose real challenge for our players who should by then have enjoined their holidays enough and be preparing to return to their clubs directly for commencement of preseason… So if they leave from the Mexico workout straight for their clubs, they will already even be in almost top physical conditions for their clubs… Contrary to what @Dr.Drey falsely allayed yesterday that holidays for professional players are a time when they allowed and expected to booze themselves, eat anyhow and engage in any other activities most of which will even knock them badly out of shape is even untrue, they are encouraged by their clubs to come back in good physical shape and are often fined if set targets of physical states by the clubs are not met… the clubs often attach lots of incentives for them to come back from holidays in good shape… So let no one take posts from @Dr.Drey… hook-line-and-sinker without thoroughly verifying those claims themselves for truth and authenticity… before the self-acclaimed-football-sage will come to blatantly submit false claims and bowlers that Paul Onuachu is a good-for-nothing attacker who collapses a team’s attack once he enters a game… meanwhile Paulo “goal demon” Onuachu is already racking up every available football award this season in Belgium… Meanwhile Eintracht Frankfurt is begging the youngman to lower his preferred wages of almost 300,000 Euros monthly for them to tie him up to a solid contract… Hatred is a disease when you try to pull others down from heights you can never yourself in a thousand lifetimes manage to attain… hahahaha… Calling someone an “Olodo” does not make them one but only expose on self as hopelessly egoistic and a chronic babbling nonentity. I greet una my people… One love!
It is not today that Dr Drey has been using multiple identities. I will not be fooled because Drey and Ola are the same person. There is a profile on social media for a man call Dreyola Majekodunmi. This is Drey.
Hahahahaha…..wonderful….LMAO. Pls clap for yourself. Are you done fooling around….? Weldone ehn. Nor be only deyola majekodunmi….LMAO.
Pls kindly publish the multiple identities Dr.Drey has been using…..and also pls publish the IP and MAC addresses of these identities. Bunch of Liars….LMAO.
Its even rather funny that its people who have been busted red-handed on several occasions who are raising withered fingers to accuse others….LMAO. dreyola majekodunmi indeed….LMAOOoo. Some people really dey jobless o….LMAOOoo.
You be real mumu, if not no so, how do you arrived at such a ridiculous conclusion?
The fact that I corroborated someone that’s talking sense now makes me him and him me abi, Eranko Ni E…
I am Ola and he is Dr Drey, 2 different smart gentlemen. If na that one dey pain u, go line up for agege train track tomorrow morning…
“..If na that one dey pain u, go line up for agege train track tomorrow morning……” LMAOOoo. #Blockbuster!
Vintage @Ola.
