Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers says the club will bring in a new striker in the summer despite Kelechi Iheanacho’s impressive scoring form in recent outings, reports Completesports.com.
The Nigeria international has scored 14 goals in his last 14 appearances across all competitions for the former Premier League champions.

Many have touted Iheanacho as the man to take over from prolific hitman Jamie Vardy but Rodgers insists the club will sign a new forward during the summer transfer window.
“It remains the same. Either way we will want to strengthen. We have seen development in players,”told a news conference on Wednesday.
” Each season you want to strengthen your squad. It’s a great bonus when you have someone playing to the level he has. We can’t just rely only on that. If we can strengthen the squad, that will be great.”

Did u say this nonsense when vardy was in form just like kele? Or Would u have said thus if it was vardy that was scoring all these goals?????? U want to buy a new white striker that you’d like to pair with your man vardy whilst sweeping kele to the bench and deny him good playing time that has given him the opportunity to bounce back. I’m beginning to think you’re a silent racist.
With the form we have seen in Iheanacho lately,no right thinking coach would play him from the bench unless there’s a loss of form along the line but Nacho is a good kid with discipline and less ego so I see a great future.
Apparently,in the coming season we are looking forward to a more improved performance from Nacho.
Clubs bring in new players to strengthen their squad it’s normal and that can on help Vardy and Nacho to up their game.
@Oakfield even me
I think rodgers is a 2face
The man is right squad must be strengthened at all times, iheanacho can miss some games as a result of suspension, injury, fatigue etc, because of the many competitions that await them next season from ECL, F.A cup, caraboa, and the league proper.
