Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has said every opponents is side are facing now appear difficult.
City are on a run of five consecutive defeats and would hope to halt the poor run when they face Feyenoord in the Champions League on Tuesday.
The Premier League champions suffered a humiliating 4-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur at the Etihad at the weekend.
Speaking ahead of the clash with Feyenoord Guardiola said his team must do everything possible to overcome a tough Feyenoord side.
“Right now, every opponent is tough for us,” Guardiola said in his presser on Monday. “They [Feyenoord] have a strength and we are going to have to play well to discover their weaknesses.
“They’re a traditional Champions League team. Alongside PSV and Ajax, the best three teams in the Netherlands.”
Despite his team’s recent struggle the Spaniard is optimistic they will bounce back.
“At the beginning of the season, it was really good. We are not consistent. [We’ve had] an incredible amount of absences, you can have one or two but we have a lot and important positions… Maybe I should expect it would happen that we would drop, it’s normal.
“Now we analyse in December and at the end of the season what we have to do to be more solid next season. I have the feeling that we will do very good things this season. I don’t give it up.”
He also commented about Kevin de Bruyne, who has struggled with fitness problems this season.
“He is fighting and training more than ever. He is not 25/26/27 now, he is of a certain age. Last season he was five months out.
“Last game before Spurs he came to me and he said it’s the first day I didn’t feel anything for months… Only I ask for Kevin and what he is looking for is no pain… Kevin will give us something because he is unique… There would be no sense to say the opposite.”
