Defender Ricardo Pereira says everyone in the Leicester City squad will be looking to qualify for the Champions League next season.
The Foxes’ one and only excursion in Europe’s top competition came in the 2016/17 season after their title-winning exploits in the previous campaign, and the club managed to make it to the quarter-final stage of the tournament.
With Brendan Rodgers now in charge at King Power Stadium, hopes are high for the 2019/20 season and the possibility of making a return to the Champions League.

Ricardo, who was named Leicester’s Player of the Season after arriving last summer from Porto, insists all of his team-mates are desperate to play on the grandest stage of them all. “For the players that already played, they want to play again,” he told Leicestershire Live. “And the players who haven’t, they want to try it for the first time. Everyone wants to play in the Champions League. “You see the spectacle when Premier League teams play − everyone is watching. I think it’s an objective for all.”
