Shooting Stars head coach Gbenga Ogunbote says his side will give Wednesday’s (today) matchday six encounter against Remo Stars all their best.
The Oluyole Warriors will be away to Remo Stars in the South West derby in Ikenne.
Ogunbote expressed the belief that his team will be up to the task against the homers.
“Remo Stars match is a different ball game because it is a local derby and it goes either way, but we will give it our all to ensure that we come out with a positive result,” he told the club’s official website.

“However, like I use to say, we pray for a level playing ground. Like teams that have been coming here have been very lucky with fair officiating, we also hope and wish we get such on away grounds”, added the Oracle as he is popularly called.
However, coach Gbenga Ogunbote admitted that it will be a tough one against the coach Daniel Ogunmodede tutored Remo Stars, who are placed third on the log.
The Oluyole Warriors will be aiming to get something good from the Remo Stars Stadium for the first time in a league contest.

The last time both sides met on the same pitch, was during the ValueJet pre season tourney where the Oluyole Warriors hammered the Sky Blue Stars 3-0 in a semi final duel.
