The agent of Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, Marc Kosicke, says the Reds are keen to get his client tied down to a new deal. Klopp has transformed the club since arriving in 2015, guiding them to Champions League glory last season and running Manchester City so close for the Premier League title.

It is no surprise that Liverpool are keen to tie him down and Kosicke says he would be open to the idea. “Liverpool would even like to extend it,” he said. “[Jurgen] felt again at the recent celebrations [after winning the Champions League], what a great club Liverpool is, and that he is in the right place at the right time.”
Kosicke has also told Liverpool fans not to worry as the German would not leave for another club. “Jurgen is currently not affordable,” he added. “But it is difficult to measure the transfer fee in his case anyway. How is this going to work for a coach who has increased the club’s value from nearly £900 million to just under £2.8 billion? That is not how it works.”
