Red Bull team principal Christian Horner says Sebastian Vettel still has a very good relationship with the team. Vettel won his four World Championships with the constructor between 2010 and 2013, when they were the dominant force on the grid.
He moved to Ferrari in 2015 but has struggled to replicate that form and is a long way behind Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton in the title race this year. His future has been the subject of speculation, with reports linking him with a switch back to the Austrian manufacturer.

Horner has now added fuel to the fire by saying Vettel was at his happiest driving for them. “We have great memories of Sebastian’s time with us,” Red Bull team boss Horner told Servus TV. “He is part of our history. He won four titles and many, many races together with us, including Red Bull’s first win in Formula 1.
We have a special relationship with Sebastian. “Although he is now with Ferrari, he still comes to see the mechanics very often, he knows most of the faces here and is still a friend of the team. “He was very happy for us at the Red Bull Ring,” Horner added, with Max Verstappen taking the chequered flag in Austria for Red Bull.
