Former Chelsea midfielder, John Mikel Obi is rooting for his compatriot Victor Boniface to become one of the best forwards in the game.
Boniface has settled down well at Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen following his arrival from Belgian Pro League outfit, Union St Gilloise last summer.
The 23-year-old has been in terrific form for Die Werkself , scoring 10 goals in 16 league appearances.

The Nigerian has also managed to register seven assists.
Mikel is confident that Boniface is going to go far in the game and become a complete centre-forward.
“He (Boniface) will become a complete striker in the next couple of years. He has the physique, he is quick, good on the ball, technically very good and it’s difficult to see strikers that are that big and strong and powerful and then good on the ball as well,”Mikel told Obionepodcast.
“His assists as well, not just scoring goals, is something that will make this kid special, really, really special. I can’t wait to see what his journey will be in the next couple of years.”

I agree. He’s a complete striker. Ball control, dribbling skills, finish – he’s complete!
