LaLiga giants Real Madrid are reportedly keen on signing Victor Osimhen from Napoli this summer.
The Nigeria international is one of the most sought after strikers in the world at the moment with the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal said to be interested in his signature.
According to Calciomercato, Real Madrid are showing a strong interest in the Nigeria international ahead of this summer’s transfer window.
Osimhen, who is contracted to Napoli until 2025 is seen as an alternative to Erling Braut Haaland who is also wanted by Barcelona.
The 23-year-old has again been in strong form for his Italian club this season, scoring 11 times and contributing four assists in 22 appearances in all competitions.
Meanwhile, he has struck 21 times and registered seven assists in 52 outings for the Blues since making the move from Lille in September 2020.

This sounds better than the Man U/Arsenal offers; but like I said in an earlier comment, if I were him, I’d STILL resist the temptation and make these suitors long more for me by playing at least ONE MORE FULL SEASON of an exceptional performance at Naples…..this will solidify my next contract, and perhaps even get better suitors.
Football contracts sometimes could be like fast food….you could rush in and rush out just like that…that’s why, as a young man (like Osimhen is), you just need to be extra-cautious!
Real Madrid, Manchester United, Man city…..how “better” can your suitors get…???
The truth is that Victor is not guaranteed any further “exceptional performances” at Napoli with the kind of selfish players playing behind him. If last season was accidental, this season has proven that Napoli are not playing for Osimhen and are not ready to make him the focal point of their plays.
If any of the above teams have $100m, Osimhen should move to them, particularly Manchester United and City. They both do not have top performing traditional CFs at the moment so there is guaranteed space for him, plus he wouldnt have to do much to adjust to the English culture. Unlike if he goes to Madrid, no 1 he’s going to have Benzema who isnt looking like slowing down soon to contend with, not to talk of the politics of a state backed team like Real.
There are less principalities to battle with in Manchester if you ask me. And with the world cup happening at the tale end of the year, it wont be nice to have our no 1 CF not getting quality game time at his club.
Rumors have it already that this might be Insigne’s final farewell season at Napoli, as he’s rumoured to be MLS-bound…..don’t you think it’ll be a blessing in disguise for Vic? He (Insigne), I think, is perhaps the most selfish player in that team, and his exit will bring out the bigger beast from Osimhen.
Anyways, if he still wishes to leave; then all the best to him
The rumour is true, insigne is already on a pre contract with Toronto fc
But osimhen transfer to real Madrid is still an unlikely rumour
Voilà!!
There you go lol
Good. I will like Osimhen to join Madrid. Manunited is no no.
For Now Napoli as a club is not doing enough to ensure that Victor Oshimen scores more goals due to their formation. Victor struggles a lot b4 getting chances to score hence Clubs with better midfield and creative players suit Victor Oshimen better.
If Victor were in a club like B Dortmund he would be close to at least 20 goals by now!
