Super Eagles forward, Samuel Chukwueze will be gunning for his 4th Copa del Rey goal when Villarreal take on host Rayo Vallecano in a quarter-final fixture tonight (Wednesday), Completesports.com reports.
Chukwueze scored his first goal of the year – his third Cup goal across two seasons – last Wednesday in the 3-0 win over Girona in a Round of 16 Copa Del Rey tie with the Nigerian star netting Villarreal’s third goal in the 72nd minute.
The 20-year old had scored two goals in three Copa Del Rey appearances for Villarreal last season and already has one goal in two outings this season.
Meanwhile, Chukwueze’s compatriot, Ramon Azeez looks set to feature in his 4th Copa Del Rey game for Granada when they take on Badajoz today.
It would be Azeez’s 16th Cup games overall having previously made five outings for Lugo across two seasons and seven outings
for Almeria over three seasons.
The returnee Eagles midfielder however, has no domestic Cup goal to his credit in past 15 outings.
