Nice one Nnamdi. This guy under Gerald, is gonna develop into some real midfield power house. Very young n powerful player.
This is news I have been waiting for, for days now. I am so delighted for Nnamdi and myself (as a keen follower of Nigeria eligible players).
I believe that the national team will be made richer if passionate players like Ofobohr earns Super Eagles caps here and there.
If he then proves to possess the requisite qualities, then we can talk of him being a mainstay in the national team setup.
I will be watching his progress in Rangers with keeness. A midfielder, he can also develop into a fluid center back.
Good luck to Nnamdi.
Pls dont pirate this title of “main stay”. It belongs to someone already. ‘We’ are just waiting for him to come good. LMAO
That was on a lighter note anyway…but Oforborh and Del-Bashiru are 2 midfielders (who can play as DM/CDM/CM) I am optimistic will emerge from Aigbogun’s u20 set to become a part of our SE in the nearest future. Infact Oforborh distinguished himself in the only game he played in the group stages at the WC that I just couldn’t phantom why the coach chose to sit him on the bench for the crap ‘local talent’ (jamilu abi wetin be the boy name again) that played ahead of him at that tournament. I really wish him good luck in his Rangers adventure
Hahahaha. @ Drey, u nor know say no one messes about Aigbogun business. Nothing like ” I go c u later” don’t give a damn about Nigeria. Lol
Good news for eagles, another ndidi/oliseh in making. I hope he commands a regular shirts, akinola have been training with arsenal first team already, josh unomah is gradualy coming back to shape i hope he reclaims his fulham first eleven shirt. These are capable defensive midfielders that can complement the eagles team incases of injury to Ndidi. They can also play along side ndidi for proper solidity.
Josh onomah is an attacking midfielder(No. 10)
Who are those ‘thumbing’ down @Mercy? Its obvious you don’t knwo Josh Onomah. He’s an attacking midfielder who can also operate on the wings.
That has been his position in Tottenham and also when he represented England in the 2017/ U20 world cup
Nice progression @Nnamdi. Good as a Creative Midfielder, Defensive Midfielder and has also played and done well at Center Back for Bournemouth. I personally watched him against my Club – Manchester City – in a Carabao Cup fixture and he was impressive. Rangers FC also becoming Nigeria FC, Scotland lol… We now have 4 Nigerian Ballers there now Balogun, Calvin Bassey, Joe Aribo and Nnamdi oforboh. I’ll see how Steven Gerrard will use Joe and Oforboh together.. lol.
And I want to raise this alarm before I start hearing fake compliments about Josh ONOMAH. Listen up guys, I’ve watched that dude play in Championship, Few games he’s had in EPL and I tell you that guy is shit! Below Average Midfielder at best! Little wonder he’s just adding up numbers to Fulham list. Now that they are battling relegation, even the Coach Scott knows he dare not throw him to the fray. To go and do what?? Loose possession and give inaccurate passes?? A team that needs sound midfielders! Please guys, maybe he will later develop oo. Am not writing him off but for now, Josh ONOMAH is not what Nigeria needs.
“Few games he’s had in EPL and I tell you that guy is shit.” Hahaha hahaha!!
Goodness gracious me! Chairman Femi no go kill person o! I haven’t stopped laughing. I have never seen Josh play but will I want to track him now?
Oh dear oh dear!
Hahaha.
Read the lines again my brother @deo and can’t stop laughing either… Lol!
But for real… That’s a fact. You can also track him. Please don’t depend on YouTube video sha oo.
@Chairmanfemi, not only Rangers, even Fulham..Adarabioyo, Aina, Lookman, Onomah and now..Josh Maja.
Yes oo… Sean! That’s our Nigerian National Team in England lol
@chairmanfemi
I am not advocating for his inclusion into the SE. I just what to clarify the notion that alot of people have been saying that onomah is a DM. He is not a defensive midfielder but an attacking midfielder.
My dear @Mercy, My write up wasn’t in response to your comment also. Your comment where you made the Clarification is actually right and am not denying that fact. Meanwhile, some might get excited about the fact that he’s a No. 10 after seeing your comment and the previous one and begin to shout his name when they see him on the bench in Fulham’s next game. So I decided to clear them first so they don’t get too excited. Cuz for me Onomah is just one player lucky to have been born in England, a Footballing country and that has helped his progression thus far.
fulham, birmingham nd west brom having about 12 nigerian players on their payroll……something great on the horizon…..2030 world cup MAY be our’s for the taken
fulham, west brom nd RANGERS having about 12 nigerian players on their payrolls…..great things on the horizon
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7dW6R-jmu1w, I don’t think he is that bad as he is said to be, I also don’t see him as an attacking midfielder, he is CM/DM
