Arsenal will be without Aaron Ramsey for Sunday’s Premier League clash against Crystal Palace at the Emirates. The Wales international was forced off during the first half of Thursday’s 1-0 Europa League victory in Napoli with a hamstring injury and he could have played his last game for the club as he prepares to depart in the summer to Juventus on a free transfer.

Speaking about Ramsey’s injury, Unai Emery said: “He was in a very good moment, with big behaviour and commitment to do something important. His injury today can give us some matches without him.” Centre-back Sokratis is also missing as he serves the final game of his two-match suspension, while the midfield duo of Granit Xhaka and Denis Suarez are being assessed as they struggle with hip and groin issues respectively.
Right-back Hector Bellerin and fellow defender Rob Holding are long-term absentees as they continue to recover from knee injuries while forward Danny Welbeck, whose contract expires in the summer, has only just started on-field rehabilitation from an injury to his right ankle.
