Watford midfielder Domingos Quina claims he is currently ahead of schedule as he recovers from a shoulder injury. The 19-year-old returned to training on Tuesday in what was his first session since the end of last season. Quina played 13 times for the Hornets following his move from West Ham but he missed the final six weeks of the campaign due to a dislocated shoulder.
After receiving the all-clear from his surgeon in Barcelona, Quina is now back in action and raring to go as he prepares to make a mark in the Premier League this season. The Portugal international says he is ahead of schedule and could not be happier after taking part in several sessions.
He told the club’s official website: “I am very happy. I can’t stop smiling. I’m buzzing as I’ve been waiting for this. “I’m back ahead of schedule. It was supposed to be three months but we’re now two-and-a-half months in. It’s feeling good, better than we thought it would be. I’m just glad to be back as it’s not easy seeing the boys training every day and I’m by myself doing my own thing.”
