Morocco winger, Hakim Ziyech won’t take a penny from his personal bonus following the Atlas Lions impressive run at Qatar 2022.
Ziyech has never received any of the bonus he received while playing for Morocco.
The Chelsea midfielder gives all of it away to charities and members of the team’s staff.
Ziyech, 29, was first capped for Morocco in 2015 and since then he has not kept a single penny, according to journalist Khaled Beydoun.
He also reports that the former Ajax man is set to make £262,000 from Morocco’s run to the World Cup semi-finals and that all the money will be given to poor people in his homeland.
According to the Arabic Post, Ziyech hires a private plane every time he is called up to his country’s squad and on his way from London to Africa he picks up some of his team-mates.
They go on to claim that he has also donated money to amateur football clubs and hospitals in Morocco

He was able to donate his bonus to charity BECAUSE HE RECEIVED IT IN THE FIRST PLACE.
If he had not received his bonus, there would be nothing to donate to charity. Unless of course he wants to donate from his personal funds.
The Morocco FA pays the players bonuses on time, and in full. O YES!
Unlike some pipo who will be owing bonuses for months, even years.
We can not realistically expect the same commitment from our players that the Morocco players showed. Yes, the bonus is small change for our players. They make a lot more from their clubs. However, that fact should not stop timely and complete payment from happening. Paying bonuses shows the players that they are valued, their hard work and sacrifice is valued, and it boosts their morale. Besides, some of the players need that money, for themselves or their families.
For his generosity, I hereby confer upon Ziyech the honorary nickname DONATUS.
DONA for short.
Donatus the great donator.
“Wetin we go chop people” will not allow SE players get their bonus talkless of allowing them donate to charity. You only need to look at the oblong head, fat watery lips, out of shape pot belly and rotten teeth of these so called sports ala football administrators in particular and the entire egg heads in position of power in Nigeria to LOSE HOPE. THESE LOTS HAVE GOT NOTHING TO OFFER, NOT EVEN TILL THY KINGDOM COME. EFULEFU WETIN WE GO CHOP PEOPLE.
HAHAHAHAHA!
