Costa Rica played better than the Dutch, and this time they can’t blame Calvin Bassey in defense. The Dutch are beatable and this shows football has moved past the Dutch-Ajax style implemented by Westerhof in the SE, and continuously regurgitated as the best footballing style for the SE.
Costa Rica played a 3-5-2 formation and although cautious in the first half, in the second half they had Holland on the backfoot.
@tristan, was your Tv acting up, can’t recollect costa rica playing today
Ecuador or Costa Rica?
Costa Rica that plummeted 7-0 to Spain. What’s happening to you?
My mistake, Ecuador.
I don’t see Senegal beating this Ecuador team. Sub-Sahara African teams usually have had problems playing against South American teams who are technically superior. This Ecuador team is not only technically-sound but are fast and physically strong as well.
You never know in soccer, though.
You very correct, but anything is possible. If they come out blazing they could win the game
Hahahaha…..is your determination and self belief that wins football matches at the world cup level developing cold feet already…??? LMAOoo.
Give this Senegalese team to a contemporary football science complaint crew and they’ll reach the semis of a world cup.
Continue relying on your determination and self belief and let’s see where your teams will end up….LMAOoo
Ecuador is much stronger than senegal
