Christian Pulisic created a new Champions League record following Chelsea’s 1-1 draw against Real Madrid, in Tuesday’s Champions League semi-final first-leg.
Pulisic opened scoring for Chelsea after superbly controlling a long pass from Antonio Rudiger, rounded Thibaut Courtois before firing into the net.

His goal against Madrid took his tally in Europe’s elite club competition to five.
It means he is now the outright highest-scoring American in Champions League history.
The record was initially held by DeMarcus Beasley who scored four goals while the trio of Fabian Johnson, Jermaine Jones and Weston McKennie all have two goals.
