PSG have won the race to sign Argentine midfielder Leandro Paredes from Zenit St Petersburg. Paredes had been linked with a switch to Chelsea but has chosen to join the French giants instead, for a reported fee of around £35million.
Thomas Tuchel’s side have already missed out on their first-choice transfer target as Frenkie de Jong agreed a deal to join Barcelona at the beginning of next season on Thursday night.

PSG were desperate to bring in more midfielders, particularly after it was announced that Adrien Rabiot would leave the club at the end of the season to join Barcelona.
The 24-year-old Paredes has penned a long-term contract at the Parc des Princes and could make his debut as soon as Sunday when the French champions host Rennes, looking to extend their 13-point lead at the top of the table.
