Former France midfielder Emmanuel Petit has revealed that PSG star, Kylian Mbappe remains committed with the club despite the off the field issues that has rocked his game.
Recall that on Tuesday, a torrent of reports came through indicating that Mbappe wants to leave PSG in January, frustrated with what he considers to be broken promises.
According to the report by Le Parisien, Mbappe wants to leave PSG as soon as possible as he feels “betrayed by the board,” with club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and chairman of the board Antero Henrique named as the major players on the PSG side.
The report states that Mbappe feels “promises made to him have not been kept” regarding “the summer transfer window, his positioning in the squad, and his place within the club project”.

However, in a chat with Sportsmail, Petit stated that Mbappe’s remains one of the most intelligent footballers and believed he knows how to handle the situation.
“I think he was the best player in Russia (2018),”Petit said.
“I know there is speculation surrounding him since signing that contract with PSG. He was annoyed about a few things but this is his club.
“I know he has arguments in the national team but nothing is bigger than the national team. I think he knows that. He is an intelligent player. He knows what to say in his communication and what to do on the pitch.”
Kylian Mbappe, one of football’s brightest stars and often considered the heir to the Messi-Ronaldo throne, has risen to the very top of the game.
At just 23 years old, Mbappe has won a FIFA World Cup with France and has led PSG to the Champions League final, falling just short.
Mbappe has scored 28 goals in 59 games for France. The 23 year old has scored eight goals and recorded one assist in 10 French Ligue 1 matches this season.
