Enyimba defeated El-kanemi Warriors 1-0 in a keenly contested Round of 32 contest.
Christian Nnaji scored the winning goal in the first half.
Rangers defeated oriental rivals Heartland 5-3 on penalities at the Awka City Stadium.
The thrilling encounter ended 1-1 in regulation time.

At the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City, Rivers United were eliminated following a 2-1 defeat to Nigeria National League , NNL outfit, Beyond Limits FA
Merveille Akinocho gave Beyond Limits FA the lead after 14 minutes.
Akinocho doubled the advantage seven minutes after the break.
Rivers United pulled one back in the 67th minute.
