Wolverhampton Wanderers’ hopes of qualifying for next season Champions League got a big boost after they beat relegation threatened Aston Villa 1-0 at Villa Park.
It was third consecutive wins for Wolves scoring four goals without conceding, since football returned in England.

After a goalless first half Wolves eventually broke the deadlock through Leander Dendonker in the 62nd minute.
The win took Wolves to fifth position on 52 points and are just two points behind fourth-placed Chelsea in the league table.
For Villa remain in 19th position on 27 points with six games left to play.
