For the second game running Semi Ajayi was benched as relegation threatened West Bromwich Albion were held to a goalless draw by Newcastle at the Hawthorns on Sunday, Completesports.com reports.
Since returning from his suspension, after being sent off in West Brom’s 0-0 draw at Burnley, Ajayi has been on the bench in his side’s last two games.
The latest result against Newcastle does not help West Brom’s cause as they fight to beat the drop.

They currently occupy 19th position on 18 points and are eight points away from safety.
Up next for the Baggies is a tricky away tie against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park next Saturday.

Atleast you didn’t lose. This will give fulham some hope that they can still catch up with likes of Newcastle and Brighton. But as far as west brom is concerned, its back to the championship with them.
