Chelsea suffered an embarrassing 4-1 defeat to Scottish champions Celtic in Saturday’s pre-season tie in the United States.
New Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has now failed to win his first two games for the Blues after securing a 2-2 draw with Wrexham in their first pre-season game.
Matt O’Riley gave Celtic the lead in the 19th minute before Kyogo Furuhashi made it 2-0 in the 33rd minute.

In the 76th minute Luis Palma got the third while Mikey Johnstone added the fourth just three minutes after the third goal went in.
Christopher Nkunku pulled a goal back for Chelsea on 89 minutes when he converted from the penalty spot.
Chelsea’s next pre-season game is against America on August 1, billed for the Mercedes-Benz stadium in the USA.
