Portugal vs Nigeria: The Super Eagles did put up some excellent performances in the African federation World Cup qualifiers, and they came very close to succeeding. They actually easily won Group C, scoring the most goals there while also giving up the fewest.
They were unable to perform, nevertheless, in the two-legged playoffs against Ghana. They drew 0-0 in the away leg of the series, but they drew 1-1 in the home leg of the series. Additionally, their wait was made longer by four years due to the cruel away-goals rule.
The Portuguese, meanwhile, escaped danger. Only a second-place finish in Group A of the World Cup Qualifiers was possible for them. They had to place worse than Serbia since they dropped the final group-stage match at home.

However, they were fortunate in the playoffs. Favourites and defending European Champions Italy were defeated by a weaker North Macedonia team, so Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates did not have to face the Azzurri under duress.
As things stand, Ronaldo has had a forgettable season, so it is critical for the team’s morale that their captain finds his form again.
This could be the team’s final opportunity to play under relatively light pressure. Expect Portugal to win this Thursday’s match between this two.
Nigeria vs Portugal – Betting Analysis
These two squads are facing off against one another for the first time in this matchup, and the Portuguese are desperate to regain their form after being eliminated from the Nations League. And this is where a foe like the Nigerians may be used against you.

Nigeria is lacking confidence as a result of their disastrous journey to Qatar, which was made worse by losing on the away-goals rule.
This Thursday, expect the Portuguese to take full advantage of their chance to win big. It is crucial for them that they arrive in Qatar in a positive frame of mind. You can rely on them to dispatch the Nigerians easily.

See the way they are now LOOKING DOWN on my COUNTRY all because of EGUAVEON!
Imagine NIGERIA to BEAT PORTUGAL stands at over 11 ODDS….
SMH….
Talk is cheap though friendly match but the atmosphere is charged. An exciting match we are expecting. My prediction 2-2. Guys lets go there.
Uzoho
Ebuehi. Ekong. Akpoguma. Onyemaechi
Indidi
Iwobi
Lookman. Simon
Aribo
Moffi
Bassey from the left side back if fit for the Match
Ekong against the speedy Portugal players, hopefully he would prove me.
I won’t mind a three pronged attack with moffi, lookman and either dessers or Dennis.
Lookman is the best winger we have in the team at the moment so he should start. He is a goal threat, good with free kicks and penalties and knows how to use both feet.
The midfield is stocked for the first time in a long while.
Iwobi and ndidi starts of course. With either etebo or aribo.
It’s uzoho in goal, okoye hasn’t been doing much at Watford but everyone has seen uzoho being active for his club.
In defense I see peseiro using akpoguma and Bassey as his Centre back. Bright and awaziem will compete for the right back, while ebuehi and the boavista defender will compete for the left back position but the boavista guy might get the nod since I heard that he is left footed.
Let’s see how it turns out.
Whether Super Eagles team A or team B, I don’t think Nigeria has won a friendly match this year so the predictor may be correct.
Up Ghana as they defeated Switzerland by 2 nil. All these odds na rubbish. Infact, they outplayed the Switzerland team
What is there to preview and predict and bet in a meaningless friendl? And shamelessly the Nigerian ambassador and NFF board will be there to watch a World Cup qualifier playing against a failure.
