Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino says he’s optimistic the club are on the right path to achieve success.
The Argentine head coach knows that bringing consistency to the team will not be easy, given the young makeup of his squad.
However, the former Tottenham and PSG trainer knows that so much quality exists within his group.
He told club media: “It’s always about building a team.

“It’s a young squad, a team that still need to to know each other.
“Only with time and training can we provide the team with what it needs. It’s why it is only a matter of time, no doubt.
“We need to be calm in the way we judge players and the team. I think we are growing and very good things are coming.
“You can feel that, even if sometimes we have some ups and downs. But, in the end, we will succeed together, for sure.”
Pochettino favours a very high-pressing, attacking style of football. He often employs a 4–2–3–1 formation at the clubs he manages. While doing so, he instructs his team to build from the back, intimidate and unsettle opponents with a quick-press system and work the ball into the box.
Pochettino is hailed by many pundits for his focus on developing local players from the clubs’ youth academies, getting local government and references’ support, and a willingness to promote young players in general.
