Ashleigh Plumptre is delighted to be included in Super Falcons’ squad for the friendly against the Les Bleues of France.
The Al-Ittihad of Saudi Arabia defender is among the 20 players named in the squad released by interim head coach, Justine Madugu on Sunday.
Plumptre is making her comeback to the team after a long-term injury layoff that forced her to miss the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

The former Leicester City Ladies star took to the social media to celebrate her invitation.

The 25-year-old has made 17 league appearances for Nigeria
The Super Falcons will face France at the Stade Raymond Kopa, Angers on Saturday.
