Plateau United have handed Technical Adviser, Mbwas Mangut, and his coaching crew a three-game ultimatum.
The club made this known in a release posted on their X handle on Monday.
According to the club the ultimatum is due to the club’s poor results in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
“Plateau United FC Management hands Technical Adviser, Mbwas Mangut and his technical team a three-match ultimatum.
“The decision followed the Culmination of a high powered meeting involving the club’s General Manager, Habila Hosea Mutla and Management Staff on Monday, February 3 in Jos, following a string of disappointing results.
“According to Mutla, it is hoped that this decision comes with the intensity needed to drive the club’s fortunes upward as well as satisfy a-result-hungry fan base.
“He added that this decision followed a careful examination of key matters leading up to the poor performance this far.
“Plateau United face Niger Tornadoes of Minna, El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri and Ikorodu City of Lagos in the next three NPFL 25 games.”
Plateau United have managed just one win in their last five games, with three draws and one defeat.
The Jos-based club was held to a 1-1 draw at home by Shooting Stars on Sunday, February 2, 2025.
They are currently in 15th place on 24 points in the league table.
