WHY INVITED HIM AT THE FIRST PLACE YOU KNOW THAT YOU ARE NOT GIVE HIM MATCH DEBUT. YOU WOULD HAVE START HIM AND BENCH AINA. ALL NIGERIA HAVE ALREADY KNOW AINA GAME.
Peseiro’s professional concept is that players are invited to compete for a shirt, and not to walk straight into the national side on sentiment.
At least a substitute appearance in such a match would not hurt anyone
What some of you forget is that the coach has his plans. It is not always about playing competitive matches but observing them in training. He can’t play everyone and there are no sentiments in football. The World Cup qualifiers are coming he needs to look at alternatives and some times those observations take place in training. If the eagles played poorly yesterday the media would have been on his back. But hey kudos to the home supporters and the stadium who gave the boys an excellent atmosphere . The boys are in good hands and will do well and qualify for the World Cup . Now NFF develop the awesome Surulere, so Eagles can be showcased once again in the original home
Bros@Francis, which one is Eagles Original home? All these sentiments cost us the world cup ticket. For one Uyo remains the home of the SE and will remain so for a long time. Even Balogun gave credence to this assertion. Eagles feel at relax and home whenever they play at the ultramodern Uyo stadium couple with the serene atmosphere. Abuja may be the headquarters but that does not mean it must host the Eagles except friendlies. Its a calamity. I still believe strongly if we had played Ghana in Uyo we would have qualify for the world cup. Lagos has a hostile atmosphere and can not host SE in this modern Era in which foreign breeds dominate the team. We can manage PH, Kaduna, Enugu, Asaba but those stadia are below standard.
