The Portuguese has been linked with a number of coaching jobs since leaving Nigeria.
He however said he is still waiting for the right project.
“I honestly don’t see myself coaching another team in Portugal, even though there are projects that I’m excited about,” Peseiro told Portuguese news outlet Ojogo.
“So far, it hasn’t happened. I’ve had offers to return to Portugal, once again, but I haven’t. It’s not because I don’t like the country or our football.”

You go really wait O!
I really don’t think any good club or national team will want to engage you, especially with the negative football Nigeria played at last AFCON, though we got to the finals.
Peseiro had the opportunity to win at the national level for the very first time but blew it up, because of fear. How do you explain the kind of football we played with the attack minded players we have. I prefer to see Super Eagles go toe to toe with opponents even if we loose than sit back and be dominated by teams like Angola, SouthAfrica, no now! It means we are not playing to our strengths, and the coach takes the blame.
So, I’m not surprised Peseiro is still jobless.
Not surprised. Just another Reserved-for-Africans journeyman national team coach…SMH
Thumbs up brotherman. Peseiro bottled it. Heaven bless all deserving Super Eagles coaches.
Alex oh now you see the light. You nailed it. He is a terrible coach and the amount of Injuries Pre afCOn and post AFCON to a number of our players is also down to his style of coaching training and tactical decisions. How do you keep the same 11 game in and game out even though you are overworking them by making them chase a game for 90mins. He has no plan B tactical play. And Victor Boniface’s injury that cost him a very beautiful season last season interms of Numbers(goals and assists),and contribution to Leverkusen winning season we can atest that to Peseiro’s poor coaching style
E go explain tire like Egungu!!!
