Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro has refused to comment on his future with the three-time African champions.
Peseiro’s contract with the Nigeria Football Federation will expire at the end of this month.
There are reports that the Portuguese will not be offered a new contract by the soccer house.
Asked about his contract situation after his team’s training session ahead of this weekend’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone, the Portuguese refused to give any direct answer.
“My future with the Super Eagles is to train today, tomorrow and prepare for the Sierra Leone game, beat them and qualify for AFCON,”Peseiro said.
The 63-year-old was appointed Super Eagles head coach on May 15, 2022.

I cannot tell the differences and similarities between paseiro and inec chairman here
NFF is notorious for sacking coaches when they owe them salaries over 6 months. Is Nigeria a gangster country? Shameful!
Well said Ako.
