The U20 goalkeeper is deserving of a place in the Super Eagles team maybe as third choice goalkeeper.
@Coache,The first and second choices aren’t brilliant so it’s an open competition i’m afraid.
He is way better than them. He is just a magnet in the post, he caught some saves today that easily would have gone in with those 2 other keepers
The boy is calm, cool and collected. HE saved us against Egypt. Happy New year my brother.
Thanks @Coache,though the year’s is getting old haha but I will take it ha…All the best for 2023 brother
Omo, the ugandan team was really tough today, i didnt expect such a solid display, they presented their main national team, luckily eagles were able to calm them down, contain the pressing and claim the victory needed to go through. It was a nice feeling, our guys didnt play well expecially casimiro i think he had fatiq in the game, there was final ball failures bcos we dont have sound 10 and 9, i hope daniel daga comes in for the semifinal to replace aminu who is not ready, the coach prefer the number 17 for the number 9 position bcos of his hold on play, we do need a real striker. However the team strenght has always been the wings, sarki and muhamed they are really strong and tecknical they work so hard, the number 7 was always stressing the opponent diffense, for those people who are expecting a complete Barcelona from this team you can go and coach egypt, since this team could bit egypt and uganda they need your advice not this eagles. Our nest opponent is either gambia or south sudan, i think gambia will go through to qualify for their first worldcup turnament! But we will stop them there to meet senegal in final.
@Collins Id be careful what you wish haha..The Gambian team is not a pushover .In fact they’re among the best three teams in this tournament,we have not played a better football than the Gambians if I must be honest.
Though they’re beatable our pedigree and energy could do it,but we shouldn’t underrate this fantastic Gambian side.
The boys lacked the technical Prowess to play at the world level. They have strength but no flair to win games. No striker, no They are selfish, they hold on to the ball for too long. Soccer is wisdom and stamina. Maybe, with more education off the pitch or more technical advice things will get better.
We will complain yet we will see the same disgusting thing repeat itself again as usual. That is what frustrates me about this team because those poor decisions making shouldn’t be the norm of Nigeria football today.
We now have two keepers that shud be invited for eagles pole take over .. the Bendel keeper and the flying eagle keeper … In case their is a friendly game for the super eagles… Pasceiro can invite them for fit in trial and if they are good enough. That it is
Apart from the keeper I haven’t seen any of the Flying Eagles ready for the senior team. But let’s wait and see
