Payne: ‘My Favourite Tattoo Is The Shape Of Nigeria On My Body’

Super Falcons midfielder Toni Payne says her best tattoo is the shape of Nigeria inscribed in her body.

In a chat with ESPN Africa, the Everton star stated that the tattoo has connected her with Nigerian culture better than ever.

“My favorite one is the shape of Nigeria. I love this one,” she boldly affirmed when quizzed about her favourite body inscription.

“Growing up and being born in the US, I didn’t always feel connected to the Nigerian culture, but since joining the national team and being able to go back to Nigeria often, I’ve been able to connect in that way.

“So, I just love to have it, and no one can question where I’m from; they don’t even have to ask, they can see,” she emphasized.
