Fabian Delph is keen to use his experience of winning silverware at Manchester City to help Everton. The 29-year-old signed from the Citizens earlier this week and will hope to see more regular action after finding himself on the fringes at Etihad Stadium.

One thing he will bring to Goodison Park is experience, having twice won the Premier League during his time at City. Everton’s last major trophy was the 1995 FA Cup and owner Farhad Moshiri will soon start to expect his investment to result in silverware. Delph’s pedigree could help end their drought and he is keen to add to his medal haul on Merseyside.
He told evertontv: “It’s something I’ll back on with fond memories once I’m finished. But it’s all about now for me. “I try to focus on the present and that’s in the past so my main focus now is Everton Football Club and giving nothing less than 100 per cent.”
