US-born Nigerian professional basketball player, Bam Adebayo, has expressed his admiration for his teammate, Lebron James, saying he feels glad to be on the court with him during the clash against Serbia at the Paris 2024 Olympics men’ basketball event.
The US secured a comfortable 110-84 win against Serbia in their Group C opening game on Sunday, July 28 with James scoring 21 points, offering nine assists and making seven rebounds.

Adebayo as reported by Basketnews, described playing on court with James as a witness of greatness, noting the 39-year-old has exemplified exceptional qualities as a basketball player.
“50. At the age of 50,” Adebayo jokingly interrupted. “It’s just one of those things where you just witness greatness. You understand what the greatness is. I’m glad he’s on my team,” Adebayo elated.
“To see him still going at 40… He’s been great since he was 16. So, you know, going through his career, you’ve seen a lot of people expecting him to drop off. The fact that he hasn’t… You just admire greatness.”
