Rasheedat Ajibade is optimistic the Super Falcons will beat Japan in their last group game at the 2024 Olympic Games.
Nigeria will square up with the Nadeshiko at the Stade de la Beaujoire, Nantes on Wednesday.
The Super Falcons lost their opening two fixtures in Group C to Brazil and Spain.
Randy Waldrum’s side occupy bottom spot in the group with zero point from two games.

The Super Falcons must beat the Asian champions to have any hope of progressing to the quarter-finals, either via goal difference in second, or from third spot.
The West Africans defeated Japan 1-0, the last time both countries met at the Olympics in Piraeus, Greece in 2004.
Ajibade believes they have the quality to beat the Japanese again.
“Victory over Japan is possible. We will work hard so that we can accomplish that. The Super Falcons have done it before and we can do it again,” Ajibade told thenff.com.
The encounter will kick-off at 4pm.
