Brazil coach Arthur Elias is targeting a positive start against the Super Falcons of Nigeria in the women’s football event at the 2024 Olympic Games, reports Completesports.com
The South Americans will begin their campaign against the Super Falcons of Nigeria in Bordeaux on Thursday.
Elias stated that his side have prepared very well for the women’s football event and are ready to go all the way.

“The commitment of the team is great. We have got an increasingly strong group [of players], and we have a unity of thought,” he waa quoted by FIFA.com.
“This is an important factor for the team to advance in such a difficult competition and also to win in the knockout phase.”
Brazil and Nigeria have met twice in the past, with the former winning on both occasion.
They triumphed 4-3 after extra time in the 1999 Women’s World Cup quarter-final and 3-1 in the group stage of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
