D’Tigress head coach Rena Wakama says her team is highly motivated for the clash with Canada.
The African champions will be up against Canada in their last group game in the women’s basketball event at the ongoing 2024 Olympic Games on Sunday.
D’Tigress stunned world number three Australia 75-62 in their opening fixture.
The West Africans however fell 75-54 to host France in their second game.

Nigeria now need to beat the Canadians to guarantee a place in the quarter-finals.
Wakama insisted that her players are fully focused on the clash with Canada.
“Our team played with heart and determination, but today France executed their game plan more effectively. We’ll learn from this and come back stronger,” she was quoted by FIBA.com.
“While we are disappointed with the result against France, we are motivated to put in a strong performance against Canada. A win will ensure our place in the next round.”
