Nigeria’s Super Falcons will take on Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon in the third round of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games qualifiers, completesports.com reports.
The third round pairing was confirmed after Cameroon recorded a dramatic 3-0 comeback win against Uganda on Tuesday.
Uganda went into the second leg clash in Douala 2-0 ahead, but saw their advantage wiped out by the Cameroonians whose winning goal came with five minutes left in extra-time.
Ajara Njoya gave Cameroon the lead in the 27th minute while Monique Ngock made it 2-0 on 46 minutes.
In the 115th minute in extra-time, Brigitte Omboudou netted the winning goal.
Also on Tuesday, the Super Falcons thrashed Ethiopia 4-0 in their second round, second leg fixture.

Uchenna Kanu, Asisat Oshoala each scored a goal while Rasheedat Ajibade bagged a hat-trick.
The qualifiers between the Falcons and Cameroon will come up in February 2024.
Cameroon knocked the Falcons out from qualifying for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
The first leg in Nigeria saw the Falcons win 2-1 while Cameroon also won the second leg 2-1.
The game went into penalty shootout with the Cameroonians triumphing 4-3 to qualify for the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Ugandan goalkeeper was in agony on the floor after a collision with a Cameroonian player from a free kick,the ball rolled on a plate for a Cameroonian player to finish and dashed Ugandan Olympic ambitions.
