Ahead of tonight’s Paris 2024 Olympic Games qualifier against Super Falcons, head coach of Banyana Banyana, Desiree Ellis has revealed that the team must score first in order to unsettle the Nigerian team.
Having lost 1-0 to the Super Falcons in the first leg last Friday, Ellis’ team faces a deficit that they must overturn to qualify for Paris 2024.
Ellis stated that the ambition of Banyana Banyana is to pile pressure on the Super Falcons and also score first to level scoreline.

“We have looked at the footage from the first game and know we are better than what we showed in Nigeria,” Ellis stated.
“It is a match we have to win, and we have to put everything into it to ensure that we get the goal early to kickstart from there.”
“We know it won’t be easy, Nigeria got the one-goal advantage, and we have to prepare for every eventuality,” she added.

I’m not even bothered by this noise making South Africa coach.
My only fear is the referee in this game. I pray the referee officiate well throughout the match.
God bless Nigeria.
I wish our girls all the best.
The Tunisian referee I believe would do a good job. We are winning today.
It’s obvious the pressure is on SA. If the falcons rediscover their Wcup performance,it’ll be hard for any team in the world to defeat them in regulation time.
This woman you talk to much haha!!!!!.
This coach no go let his husband hear word for her house ooo
