Egypt, Cameroon and twenty-two other countries are starting their race today (Tuesday July 2 ) to secure tickets for the forthcoming Paris 2024 Olympics billed to get underway from July 26 to August 11, Completesports.com reports.
Ahead of the international multi-sports showpiece, the 2024 FIBA Men’s Olympic Qualifying Tournaments (OQTs) has been scheduled to take place from Tuesday July 2 till Sunday 7.
The host countries for this qualification tournament includes Greece, Latvia, Spain, and Puerto Rico.
According to the organisers, each host for the tournament has six teams divided into two groups of three.

For the qualification, the top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals and the winner of each OQT final will qualify for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, joining these eight teams that have already qualified: France, USA, Canada, Australia, South Sudan, Japan, Serbia and Germany.
