Nigeria’s medal hopeful, Favour Ofili ended in 6th position in the final of the Paris 2024 Olympic Women’s 200m Race.
Running in lane nine, Ofili’s 22 24 seconds time was not good enough for a podium finish.

USA’s Gabby Thomas won the gold medal in a time of 21.83s ahead of 100m Olympic champion Julien Afred from Saint Lucia who finished in a time of 22.08s.
USA’s Brittany Brown emerged third finishing in a time of 22.20s
