Nigeria’s badminton star Anuoluwapo Opeyori is looking forward to his opening fixture at the 2024 Olympic Games.
Opeyori will face Switzerland’s Tobias Kuenzi at La Chapelle Arena on Tuesday (today).
The 27-year-old took to the social media to express his readiness for the game.

“First matchday at the 2024 Paris Olympics tomorrow (Tuesday) by 6:30pm C.A.T. I’m very sure you guys can tell how excited I am. I will give it nothing but my absolute best,” Opeyori wrote on X.
In an accompanying video, the Nigerian star added, “I am excited for my first game in the Olympics Paris 2024. It is an honour to represent Nigeria. I have put my heart and soul into training every day and night, and I am happy to represent.”
He will be making his second appearance at the Olympics following his debut four years ago in Tokyo.
