The host nation’s women’s basketball team ended their pre-Olympics friendly with a perfect record ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympics scheduled to start Friday, July 26 and end August 11.
They began with a couple of easy wins over Finland, 129-50 and 117-59. They then beat Serbia 85-63, a game that started close before France pulled away in the second quarter.

In the final two exhibition games, France faced off against two Asian powerhouse teams in Japan and China. They made it look easy with a pair of victories: 75-62 over Japan and 93-76 over China.
Ahead of the international multi-sports showpiece, the French women’s basketball team Olympic roster includes Marine Johannes, Alexia Chartereau, Marieme Badiane, Romane Bernies, and Marine Fauthoux.
Others are Leila Lacan, Dominique Málaga, Sarah Michel, PrahaIliana Rupert, Janelle Salaun, Gabrielle Williams, and Valeriane Vukosavljevic.
The France Women’s Basketball Team is in Group B with Canada, Nigeria, and Australia.
