Spain star Rodri has described England midfielder, Cole Palmer as a exceptional talent that will blossom in the coming years.
He made this known on the backdrop of his impressive performance against Spain, where he scored England’s only goal in Sunday’s Euro 2024 final.
In an interview with ITV, the Manchester City stated that Palmer is a huge talent.

“We knew they didn’t need to do a great game to draw, to score goals,” Rodri told ITV.
“I know this guy (Palmer). Huge talent he is going to be, a top player in the next years.
“He put it in the corner (Palmer’s goal). In that moment we suffer a little bit. But this tournament, we showed something different that was key and we overcame this situation, so it was great.”

Cole Palmer is a gifted footballer. A lefty, he’s comfortable anywhere in the attack, and can also be used as an AM. For one so young, he has great composure. Can be relied on for goals and assists.
I believe Man City made a mistake in letting him leave. Their loss is Chelsea’s gain.
England took 4 attacking lefties to the Euros. Saka, Foden, Bowen and Palmer.
And they have other attacking leftie options, including Palmer’s Chelsea team mate, Chukwunonso “Noni” Madueke.
Madueke can either compete with these four for a spot in the 3 Lions squad in the future, or he can switch allegiance to Nigeria, where his spot is more secure.
