Crystal Palace are reportedly lining up a summer offer for Chelsea’s promising defender Reece James.
Former England boss Roy Hodgson is eager to strengthen his defensive options during the summer transfer window and he is rumoured to have put England Under-20 international James top of his list.
The 19-year-old spent this season on loan at Wigan Athletic and he played a key role in helping the club avoid relegation from the Championship, scoring three goals and registering the same amount of assists from 45 appearances.
His impressive performances are believed to have attracted the interest of several Premier League clubs including Palace.
